Hi everyone :)
My main reason for making videos is to show off the North East of England which may hopefully lead to you visiting this beautiful part of the country. I also enjoy making the videos so it’s a hobby as well
I have no schedule for uploading videos, if I feel like making a video I will so could be multiple uploads in a week or none lol
On my channel you will find a wide range of videos from nature and scenery to fairgrounds and nightlife
I appreciate everyone who visits the channel for taking an interest
Thank You :)

Middlesbrough Town Centre, A Short Walk Around
Hi Everyone this is a quick walk around boro town centre, I was hoping to get to either Leeds or holy island this weekend but just didn’t feel up to it. This was towards the end of our morning walk out and I was hoping to listen to the Toon match (big mistake lol got beat 4-1) it seems like a decent place it was clean and had most of the big brand shops you would expect, funnily enough I have never been to the town centre so I’m happy to tick this off the list. I am getting a bit stuck for places I want to visit now.
Enjoy :)
I’m not sure when my next video will be I only make a video when there is somewhere I want to visit or stumble across a place. I don’t actively go places just to make a video, I am not a TH-camr this is only a hobby
I have quite a few different locations on the channel now and also videos from other parts of the country.

We start off at the market place we talk to one of the vendors ...

Stalls from beer and gin to handmade clothing and jewellery. The full video will be on the channel ...

Middlesbrough actually looked ok, I’ve not been there but it looked like it had plenty of shops and the streets looked nice and clean
Yes it was ok and the streets were clean,
I clicked on this because I didn't know what a Geordie accent sounds like, and it's so cute!
lol thank you
You CAN get an allergy at any time
👍
You can get the parking disc from loads of places. I think ours cost £3 from a cafe in Morpeth. You need them for places like Morpeth or other Northumberland towns that use the timed parking. We're ftom Australia so we left it there with hire car. The zones take a bit of reading to figure out how to avoid a ticket.
Hi, Yeah the disks are a strange one to me everywhere else just uses ticket machines, I didn’t see any signs of where to buy a disk, thanks for the info though for next time I’m up there.
As an Allendale resident, thanks for this. Neil is an incredibly talented artist and all-round lovely bloke. He's worked hard to bring this off and, when you see what he's fit in such a space, you'll realise it really is the Tardis! As for Doctor Who: I'd recommend the Hartnell/Troughton years - consider it as an _essential_ history of BBC sci-fi production.😉 And come back soon.👊
I will 100% agree it’s like a tardis lol and you can tell by his voice just how passionate and proud he is of what he has achieved there and rightly so. He greeted us at the door and voluntarily gave us a a tour which backs up his great reviews on tripadvisor. I will definitely be going back and also your village is beautiful, thank you for watching :)
I will also check out your Doctor Who recommendations thank you 👍
Hexham is dull as ditchwater. Hardly any shops
Hi, Was that all of the town centre I visited? I wasn’t sure but if it was I would agree hardly any shops at all lol. Still a nice place I thought though
Was this a Saturday?
Hi, yes it was 👍
I really like the look of Hexham, that’s my first day out planned for when the weathers a bit better
We missed the majority of Hexham because of the cold but we will also be going back in a few months. thank you for liking the video :)
Wow what an amazing place, and that’s from someone that doesn’t even watch sci fi films
It really is an amazing place I will definitely go back in the summer when it’s warmer lol
Which area of York was your hotel in please ? 🎄
Hi, To be honest I can’t remember it seemed a little out of the way from the Christmas market and attractions
Newcastle is always quiet on Nye. No buses
Very true
Big market would of been busy
Definitely
Looks dead, used to be mad back in my day
This was early on about 5-6pm it did get busy according to family but yeah quiet in this video
tell us what streets you are walking through please
I Honestly can’t remember lol without re watching it
only time I was in Newcastle on New Years Eve was way back in 1980 to see The Damned at the Bearpit, Taxi cost a fortune to get yem
lol some things never change
that Karaoke was a bit loud, Happy New Year to you, love from Blaydon-On- Tyne
Haha it was, thank you and happy new year to you too 🎉
Looks a dump full of wheely bins and shambly buildings
Lol
Always nice to see a fellow North Easte TH-camr on here, wait until people start asking about your accent 😂 I'm not sure if you've got your stability on your camera to high or if you've rendered the video with a lower frame? Ive just gave away a little 4k action camera you could of had. Keep it up mate. Craig
Thank you lol, I also noticed that, was recorded in 30 fps so I’ll check my go pro settings for the stability 👍
@GeordieExplorer definitely do 60fps and 4k if you can, Sony Vegas is the video software I use for editing. Keep it up though 😁
That’s the hope in the near future but I’m currently working with the slowest internet ever lol, I’m using splice to edit but when I have my internet sorted out I’ll try and make myself a bit more tech savvy. Thanks for the advice though I really appreciate it coming from an experienced TH-camr 👍
@GeordieExplorer tbh I've knocked TH-cam on the head, had a bit of a bad time mentally and just lost my mojo on here. Honestly keep these videos up and you'll be at 100k subscribers before you know it! There's another bloke who goes round Newcastle showing off the pubs and places round here. Wish you the best of luck and I'll be keeping an eye for your next upload
Thank you and I completely understand always best to take a break and breathe
Thanks the video mate. Great accent too. Keep up the good work.
Thank you :)
I love your Newcastle videos what ever time of day you do them. The weather doesn’t look bad enough to cancel the fireworks though, I think there being a bit over cautious. Happy new year and all the best for 2025
Thank you so much, I agree they should have waited before cancelling the fireworks. Happy new year :)
The winds were up to 70 in the morning time. It was more for a safety measure for the crowds pity as we haven't had any fireworks since 2019 before covit xxx
Yes it was really windy in the morning to be fair so for safety they probably made the right decision instead of making it last minute, hopefully next year they will go ahead :)
Looks dead for NYE. What time was this?
This is only around 5pm I mention near the start of the video, I would assume right now however the picture would be different lol
@@GeordieExplorer Yep say now it would be bustling.
100%
No public transport apart from taxis so I don’t think it gets that busy nowadays in Newcastle on New Year’s Eve
New Year’s Eve is dead now in Newcastle, even New Year’s Day has tailed off.
Black garter is wild not my kind of establishment 😂
Superb videos great channel and your craic is good too mate well done….subscribed👍🏻
Mate thank you it means a lot. Happy new Year
@ all the best mate
Madame Walk
Excellent video, never been to Newcastle looks very nice and extremely clean. MVC those were the days 🐐
Hi, MVC was by far my favourite shop back when video tapes existed lol
I was going to go to the town on Boxing Day but I thought it would have been packed so I gave it a miss, I’m surprised it was so empty. Lovely video and merry Christmas
Thank you very much, Merry Christmas :)
Lovely video as usual. Happy Christmas to everyone celebrating ❤
Thank you so much, Merry Christmas 🎅
Whitby is very pretty, and I remember all them steps coz we had to carry a push chair up once lol. I think all the shops have the same black jewellery coz it’s some stone to do with Whitby
Yes the steps weren’t fun after York lol
I love places like York. When you walk along the street you really feel as though you’re walking in the footsteps of history.
I agree :)
Personally, I found the Yorkshire Museum to be better value than York Castle Museum, but I haven't been in any of the museums for at least ten years, so things could've changed.
Next time I will try the Yorkshire museum I will be going back I love York 👍
York looked really pretty all lit up and the market looked huge. it’s funny though most people just seem to walk around without buying anything except food, I think it’s just the Christmasy vibe a nice feel good happy feeling.
@@mamothmamoth816 I agree
Newcastle is beautiful. I love this city so much haha. I had to quit it a year ago, and I'll be there again in 2026 hopefully.. In the meanwhile, whenever I find on TH-cam a video shared recently about the toon, i click on it immediately it makes me feel relieved 😌❤ Thanks for sharing.
@@Amdjedtahri thanks for watching and you’re very welcome :)
The Jorvik Viking centre looks really good I’ll definitely have to go sometime. I don’t like jobsworths either there always ready to pounce, you probably made her day lol.
This person you could tell it makes her day lol
I like the quayside walks, I like all your videos but especially the quayside and city centre
Thank you very much 👍
Yes your right it should have stayed Bedes world it just doesn’t sound right Jarrow hall. Yes he was a saint I used to go to st Bedes school in jarrow
I asked the people in the church and they said the same 👍
No way you can't be a Geordie not knowing Tyneside cinema existed
Haha I know right, I’ve just never been I would have heard of it over the years but never knew where it was but I’ll go back lol at some point
I used to go to tyneside cinema in 1981 when i was a student. It opened in 1937. Great films, little movie museum.
I’m definitely going to check it out again then 👍
Can't believe you've never heard of the Tyneside Cinema lol! It was well used during the war, showing propaganda films to boost morale.Opened in 1937.
Yeah I just never walk that part of Newcastle so just wasn’t familiar with me I suppose but thanks for letting me know a bit about its history. If the doors are unlocked next time I pass I’ll walk in and have a look around
@@GeordieExplorer I think it was known as a Newsreel cinema originally.
Yep you’re right just looked it up, the last remaining full time Newsreel theatre in the UK, also a Grade 2 listed building
All the times I’ve been to Newcastle I’ve never seen that Tyneside cinema, it’s either new or I walk around in a daydream lol.
It might be new I don’t think I’ve noticed it before either lol
I wish it had been that empty when we where there, but we went on a Sunday and there was so many people you couldn’t get near the market stalls. Which was a good thing them but not us lol.
It was the same when I was there on a Saturday afternoon very busy
Where about are you from yourself mate
Originally Gateshead now County Durham
@ I used to live in leadgate in consett but now live in Gateshead haha
Reverse of me then lol
@ lol
I'm 65 now and I can't be bothered with Newcastle at night either, but find an afternoon drink there nice and civilised!
Yeah I think that would be my preferred drink maybe in the summer, in Newcastle the queues, waiting at the bar the taxis now just puts me off on a night out lol
Newcastle Christmas markets lovely it’s quality not quantity, I love your Newcastle videos
Thank you :)
I’m really looking forward to your night time Christmas market video next week, markets always seem more Christmassy in the dark
I agree that video will hopefully be up on Monday or Tuesday :)
👍 great
Thank you :)
Much better than years at least this one’s Christmassy
Yes I think this is the best for one for a long time
We took our daughter on the Christmas steam train ride at tan field railway about 25 year ago , I remember she got a stuffed dog from Santa which she called spot and she still has it, and we got hot mulled wine and a mince pie. The lovely thing about it was it started snowing just as we got on the train
It does look great I’ve been researching it online
Excellent video filled with humour and horror, loved it. I know where I’m going next halloween
@@mamothmamoth816 thank you it was really fun
Yeah that big old tree was definitely photo worthy
