Hey Zilla, What's up bud! No, I didn't quit...life has just been getting in the way for the last 2 months. Things happened that needed to be dealt with. I was actually out camping last weekend, unfortunately it didn't work out for a video. I'm hoping to go out again this coming weekend and do a video. Probably be a long one...lol. A lot has happened. Thank you again! I've had German Shepherds in the past. When I decided to get another, I came across Sierra for sale when she was 8 weeks old. She is a mix...father is purebred German Shepherd and her mother is a purebred Belgian Tervuren shepherd. She was adorable, my wife and I decided to get her and it was a great choice, she turned out beautiful! Such a happy and loving dog! She is my camping partner 99% of the time. Thanks, my name is Bill... my dog is named Gunnar. He is a huge 175lb Mastiff and inspired me to start this camping channel. I was in the military, I am an Air Force veteran and I served during Operation Desert Storm. I was deployed to Saudi Arabia at that time. Honestly, I named him Gunnar just because he is awesome and I knew he was gonna be a big dog....and the name would fit.

@@gunnar606 oh that's awesome. I'm sure those were quite the experience And I know it's bill, and the dog is Gunnar. Both pups are cute. I just thought maybe that was a nickname lol.

It does work, but I would highly recommend to use thin sliced pepperoni. That will work much better! But ya, it was delicious and fast!

Definitely do it , I wish I would have started camping 20 years ago! I'm older now and can really appreciate the beauty of camping. Your family will love it, I wish my dad would have done it when I was young. Take care bud, and get outdoors!!

I live about 10 minutes away from this campsite, it is a beautiful spot!

It is comfy! I love it, it's old and retro and in great shape...only paid $1250 for it. Plenty of room for my wife and I and our 2 dogs, and one of our dogs is as big as a grown man....check out Gunnar in this video : th-cam.com/video/BcGzkU4S208/w-d-xo.html It all just depends on what you want, I don't worry about the camper having power. Eventually I'll do something with it. But honestly, I/we spend our time outside while camping and really only sleep in it. Same thing with my truck camper, I don't hang out in it. Ya, I hear ya on that....not very safe as far as a bear is concerned. I would say follow basic camping rules and cook/store food well away from the camper, not worth the risk. I've not had any issues with bears, but I did have a Bobcat stalking my campsite one time... I packed up and left for the safety of my dog, she is my #1 priority when I'm out there. @@gunnar606 yeah exactly. Where we live they come in the back yard. Not when we're burning wood tho. But yeah I may have to take that advice. That would suck if it takes the crabs I cook lol. But, I was looking at pics and such, and it seems people tent camp, so maybe not bad?! Idk. But wow 😳. That's nuts!!! They can be very dangerous. Don't blame ya there. I don't really think it would work very well, especially in the middle part of the tent. You would also probably have to extend the attachment points of the tent so you could tie it to the legs somehow. I wouldn't do it. Thanks!

@@Khalid-s2c I really can't say for sure on that question. It would have to be built very similar to the ozark trail canopy. You could probably make it work, but the ozark trail has all the little holes for clips where they need to be...other brands almost certainly do not. That's a risk only you can decide bud.

One more question pls 🙏🏽. You setup the tenant in which leg adjustable height ?the tallest or any height is fine ?

I have a portable toilet in my truck bed camper and also another one that we usually take in the pop up. Nice ones with chemicals so you don't get any stink. Thanks for the question, take care bud!

Thanks, yes Gunny is a BIG boy! Sierra is a totally different dog when her big brother is around. I wish we all could get out together more, we had a great time at the dog corral! It was nice knowing the dogs were fenced in but had 1.5 acres to roam around. That is a great spot, and I appreciate that the owner lets me camp there. Thanks Zilla, ya it's shorter than usual. We had a few setbacks along the way in this one, but we still had an awesome time. Gunnar is doing well as you can see, he really is a great dog! Gunny and Sierra are best buds! Take care man!

Honestly, I just didn't think of it...lol. I'm better prepared now. I did a camp in a dog corral a bit ago and when I woke up in the morning the canopy was collapsed from rain. Thought I was going to have to throw it away, the top just wouldn't stay up anymore. BUT, I recently just came up with a fix for it...and now it is rock solid and better then new! Take care!
