Actually ASHIHARA KARATE is a mixture of MUAY THAI, JAPANESE JIU JUTSU, KUNG FU, TAI CHI, WING CHUNG, KYOKUSHIN KARATE and TAEKWONDO. Once ASHIHARA HIDEYUKI,the founder of ASHIHARA KARATE STYLE was the student of MAS OYAMA, the founder of KYOKUSHIN KARATE. One day, MAS OYAMA had challenged THAILAND MARTIAL ARTS and had sent three KYOKUSHIN KARATEKA to fight against three mauy thai fighter in THAILAND and one of them were ASHIHARA HIDEYUKI. TWO KYOKUSHIN KARATEKA loses against two valiant mauy thai fighter and only one had won because he was already a black belt in KYOKUSHIN KARATE and the NAK MUAY one was just an amateur. ASHIHARA HIDEYUKI had lost very badly against THE MIAY THAI FIGHTER. To maintain the honour of JAPANESE and KARATE, since then ASHIHARA HIDEYUKI had sworn to create such a KARATE STYLE that can beat MAUY THAI or MUAY BORAN. Then ASHIHARA HIDEYUKI gave birth to THE WORLD MOST DEALDY AND DANGEROUS KARATE STYLE CALLED ASHIHARA KARATE which is a mixture of MUAY THAI,BOXING,KICKBOXING,MUAY BORAN,LETHWEI,KUN KHMER,KYOKUSHIN,KUNG FU, JAPANESE JIU JUTSU, TAEKWONDO, TAI CHI and WING CHUNG. In order to create ASHIHARA KARATE, HIDEYUKI had to study all these arts I have mentioned. The most shocking fact is that even MAS OYAMA,the founder of KYOKUSHIN KARATE had lost to a muay thai fighter name BLACK COBRA

Ashihara Karate was branched out from Kyokushin. Affectionately known as Street Fighting Karate. But was criticized for being unorthodox. The essence of the techniques lies in counterattacking from the opponent's blindspots.

This video omits the most important distinction between Kyokushin & Ashihara Kara Te (the reason it's better) which is the Ashihara doctrine of evasive Taisabaki footwork and judo kuzushi to grab and throw adversary to the ground.

Just putting it out there, but calling any art "the deadliest" immediately decreases the credibility of the art. The term is associated by the general martial arts community with mcDojos and wannabe martial artists who are desperate to prove themselves. Just say effective instead.

Sensei Ohtzuka developed his Wado ryu from Shotokan by adding, among other things, tai sabaki movements. Ashihara Sensei did the same, roughly speaking, starting from Kyokushin. So the difference is also in the application of techniques to combat.

Very very tough, technically impressive and all. However, what I don't like about these full-contact karate styles is the emphasis on destroying each other in competitions where my guess is competitors are not getting paid for fighting... on the contrary, perhaps many competitions charge you a fee for competing. Just look at those knockouts, they can be life-crippling... bad, bad, bad

@@thestrongestkarate-ashihar5430 Olympians don't get paid as professional fighters either; however, there's government support and scholarships for them. Also, Olympic style rules seek to minimize the risk of injuries, but the risk is still there, whereas in Kyokushin the opposite is true: they seek to maximize damage. IMHO, it's unnecessary to have such gruesome tournaments. These guys CAN fight for sure. I don't think it's necessary to destroy each other in an unpaid sport to show it. To me, it kind of defeats the purpose and ethics of karate, but this is just my opinion. My deep respect to Kyokushin practitioners. I hope this bad tradition of paying for joining tournaments ends and the players get paid as they deserve for their professional skills and exposing themselves to such a risky activity one day.
