@@jimscarnivorekitchen4731 not bad
Hey Randy - nice video. Is that the tinted, stock windshield that comes with it? If so how tall is it? Are you looking over it ~2" which is the general rule of thumb? I'm 5'10 and am looking for a little more wind protection but don't want to eliminate it entirely. Does the fairing reduce wind but creates a new, buffeting problem or will I HAVE to have lowers to cure it (if it exists)? RM is not too far from me and I was wondering if I rode up there would they let me take a 15 min ride to try it out before I buy. Kind of doubt they would but who knows; if they have a scratched demo version they may let me do it..
I look over mine.the windshield is the one that comes with it but any 96 to 13 hd shield can be fitted. Don't know if Reckless has any demos though
You may have your buy a winter jacket this year.
Got them just haven't needed them until this year!
Looks great Randy, I’m jealous. Enjoy the weather and the ride.
Thanks, will do!

Will you say its a more a plush ride than the fatbob, less bumby and stiff?
Very plush ride very smooth

Great bike! What seat do you have on it? Thanks.

I always loved Mayer, I remember driving through taking my daughter to her mother’s in Prescott. I always wanted to live there.
The heat in Arizona is pretty hot in some places. What do you do to keep your seat cool? I could imagine using a small towel to cover the seat, but I am sure someone may need it more than I.
@@PaulsMotoZen you try to park in the shade or cover it with a towel as you suggested. It's pretty windy here as well but it's a blast furnace wind. We live for winter! Thanks for watching

My buddy lives out in Morristown and stated 116f yesterday afternoon. That's just crazy. His electric bill must be a fortune. He's recovering from a second Motorcycle crash within a year span. Both crashes totaled out his really nice Harleys and wasn't his fault. He's lucky to be alive. Watch out for idiots on the road and stay hydrated

I'm short 5'7 Which one is lower height for leg reach to flat foot the ground?
@@sanemonk1 saddlemen
Thanks for your response. However I am a little more confused because you said saddlemen seat is more taller in the video. But you are saying saddlemen is lower to the ground to flat foot than LA perra. If la perra is not as tall as saddlemen then laperra should be more lower to the ground and more easier to flat foot. No?
@@sanemonk1 sorry it's been awhile. There is not a really big difference there. The le pera is more comfortable in general. They are both good choices

@@randytbird6548 hot here to, in the 90’s and humid all week. Which for here is really hot.
No way to purchase these fairings in Canada.
Have you tried calling them directly? The exchange rate may be high. Maybe they don't choose to do international sales. There are other companies but I can't vouch for them. Good luck with your search
@@randytbird6548 Yes, the only way is to use a third party buyer which I don't trust. This also inflates the cost.
Happy Fathers Day Randy Enjoy your day Congrats on your new job 😎😎
Thanks so much
Happy Father’s Day Randy!!
and to you my friend
Thank you hope you are doing well!
In regard to finding neutral and transmission clank…I always drain the 20w-50 motor oil they say to put in them and replace with synthetic GEAR OIL. 75w-90 and even 75w-140 I’ve used. It’s quieter and neutral easier to find. They are just a gear box and that’s what gear oil is for. I think they have you use the same oil as the engine to keep it simple and use same oil for everything….not because it’s actually best for it. I had a dealer test ride one for a trade in and they said man the trans is pretty quiet on this thing. I said yea bec I use real gear oil in it 😂 They want you to buy a new bike after so many years. I want a bike to last MANY years. Gear oil at least will make trans last longer with less wear
Makes sense to me 😃
She looks amazing, I need a fair for my 2018 heritage
It works really well
