If you were an earlier adopter of the awesome, Thule Tepui Foothill rooftop tent, like I was, you've maybe ran into issues with the earlier cover zipper design. Namely, a broken zipper. @@TLOverlander forscan should I try?
Ah, beutiful Saturday, a cup of coffee and watching by good friend and his dog enjoy this amazing province, thanks Eric
Thanks for tuning in, Dino! Wait til you see my next episode. A LITTLE different than my other work... More stripped down, and focusing more on getting my viewers 'being there'. And a new colour profile in post. Kodak 2383...Hollywood, baby! Love the look, especially for autumn. 😍
Nice video but be cautious. This may not be successful on all models of the Bronco. I tried this on my 2023 Bronco Raptor and all went as shown until it came to clearing the errors by doing a relearn on the PCM and AWD modules. I was able to clear the service engine soon light by relearning the PCM module but the AdvanceTrak error would not clear by relearning the AWD module. In the end, the only way I could clear all the DTC codes (and have them stay clear :) was to return the Tire Circumference value to it's default value (2753 in my case), relearn PCM and AWD and finally clear the DTC codes again. This returned things to normal. Really want this to work since I upsized my tires by 2" and now the speedo reads about 5mph slow at 70mph. Maybe somebody has a ForScan spreadsheet for the Bronco Raptor that shows multiple values that have to be adjusted for this to work? Thank you for the video!
@@timsfun6653 I think you have to run the service/test procedure on the AWD module? Relearn will give you the constant error. I that what I said in the vid? Can't remember now...
I think you're going to need another Helinox!
I got a 1 time discount for being affiliated. I can't afford to pay full price for another! Lol
Yup. You should stop stealing her chair!
Nice 3 part video. Really enjoyed it. Just did a circle through that area but south of Shining Tree and had a blast. Your route looked a bit more challenging. Congrats.
Glad your in a roof top tent lol, you'll sleep much better
I just found this useful video while searching around for crown land maps. Like some others I don't have a lot of patience with online mapping but I will have to try and keep at it this winter. I moved from the Sudbury district to the Ottawa Valley area a few years back and it is abysmal for crown land opportunities. There is some this way but come hunting season it is overrun with hunters. I'll re watch this video to try and pick up some tips. Thanks
I too have a 2-door Badlands 7MT and just ordered the Tepui Foothill thanks to your videos. I like your overall set up. What kind of cargo basket and awning do you have mounted with the Tepui?
Thanks for the comment! The basket is a Yakima Skinny Warrior and pairs well with the Foothill. And the awning is the 6.5ft Yakima. I got both with my Ford Pass points 🤘🏻😁🤘🏻
@@TLOverlander Thanks
This was so nice to watch with my morning coffee on my day off. ☺️
Sickkkkk
Ah nothing like a long weekend and the lonley overlander to take me up north 😊
Hello, I replaced my 8" screen with a 12" everything works great however my volume shows zero on display all the time. Any changes if forscan to show volume level?
I can't be sure...but I wish mine did NOT show the volume (and subsequently your not able to touch the screen effectively while the volume shows!) Your best bet is posting on B6G
@@TLOverlander ok thanks ill post there and see if someone can assist.
i bought the forscan for my 24 bronco. i cant get the auto start/stop function to turn off without getting a battery check indicator light. is there a new fix for this?
Your beat bet is to check on the B6G forums. I can't be sure why you're getting that issue. Also, check to make sure you have the latest ForScan... Or request the latest beta

Hey. Great video again! Can you share what table it was you unfolded? Been searching but haven't found it. Thanks!
It's a bamboo table from King Camp. Nice for beside the camp chair 👍🏻
The quality of your videos is always superb, and your voice narrating the journey is soothing and draws the viewer in. Your cooking segments are also always top-notch. Another wonderful video that I enjoyed while cooking here at home. Thanks for taking us along, Eric. 🥰🙏🏼✌🏼
@@Womaninthewoods13 thanks, Christina for the wonderful comment! 😁
If you are ever in the Griffith area we have an offgrid cabin that is on amazing land. There are a few areas that you can camp. Furthermore, we’re not that familiar with this area as we have just moved here but if you’re looking for company, TL and I would love to join you.

I don't know how you don't have more subscribers. Your content and edits are pretty good.
@@correfe thank you! I appreciate it 😁 I had a good spell of new subs a few weeks ago, but then it tapered off again 🤷 The algorithm is finicky I guess 🤔
Most people don't realize the amount of work that goes into making a vid... All those cooking scenes for example, all shot on 1 camera. Every angle and every view is repositioning and resetting up the shot. Many, many takes... And lots of edits lol
Appreciate the video, finished installing the RC high mount on my 24 Heritage. Followed your suggestion regarding additional reinforcement brackets. I did it with minor modifications. Enlarged the outer holes on the frame to utilize a 1/2 inch mounting bolt, washers for spacers to get a more flush mount on the frame and replaced the 6 bolts that mount the bumper with longer ones-all Grade 8 hardware. Really please with the outcome.
Nice! I've since removed the included spacers that came with the Rough Country mount and spaced out the control box away from the grill. Tight 🤘🏻
I guess the first step for me is washing the truck. Lots to learn about polishing here!
