After the X, when you start the 7 over and 4 up you use double yarn? It's not pointed out verbally in the video which it should be, I think, for people just starting out and following carefully along, but it looks like the thread is doubled up.
Hello Angie, I just subscribed and rang the bell. I was just about ready to give up on finding a channel like yours!!! I have been searching for 3 days. I appreciate no loud music and your clear instructions. Thank you.
Quick tip about the designs. It will be easier to draw them first on the canva with the marker, and then fill them up with the yarn. That way you can proceed with simple but pretty landscapes. I am working right now on the project nr 6.
@@angiescrafts954 Thank you for response. I think your designs are very nice. It can be used as a tapestry by the bed. My grandma had a mat or sort of blanket handing from the wall by the bed so it will be warmer. Or something to hang on the door. For my patterns use needle point technique for embroidery little bid different only one side of canva is fully filled. It saves the yarn a lot, especially when doing larger sections. You can make for example strip landscape. Ist strip for water, 2nd Grass, 3rd Hill, 4th and final for sky and clouds. If you will add some trees or really small patter you can wrap the yarn around entire canva like you are showing in the video. You can divide water section in few other parts and fill it up with different shades of blue to show the decreasing depth of the water. And also with needle point the embroidery is very bulky and thick. It may be even heavier if there is the same amount of yarn is on both side of the canva. But what is absolutely the best part of using marker and drawing landscapes? You do not need to count a thing. You simply enjoy making something beautiful.
I’ve only just found your videos, I do craft with plastic canvas,I LOVE the stitches you have shown, do you still make videos with ideas for plastic canvas ? ❤ 🤗 xxx
Thank you for showing the process of how this works up. It’s very helpful to see it come together. I just did a canvas doll and I carried the black from one eye to the other, so she had a one-line black unibrow. I had to cut, fish, and tie it. Lesson learned: Be cautious carrying yarn tails behind ur work cause it’ll show through.
shame you didn't show the cutting of the middle parts, I would have liked the video!

Why do you show you starting on the back and not the front of the piece..it seems confusing to me..
I usually start this way so you can hide the end of the string of the back of the canvas.
