A Starry Speedpaint // This Took FOREVER 🦌
I fell in love with a sound on TikTok forever ago, and earlier this year finally had the confidence/idea to make a drawing to go with it. I'm so proud of this but dang did it take a time to finish! I'm not used to drawing backgrounds so it was definitely a challenge!
I really wanted to animate it, but I haven't quite got around to dabbling around with animation yet. Perhaps in the future!

This part is quite a bit shorter than the first part! It didn't take me quite as long to colour as it did the sketch & lineart stage, I also sped up some areas a bit more. Still trying to get a feel of what is too fast or too slow! (Probably should have split it all up a bit more evenly too, whoops!) Beautiful moth! Did you draw it from imagination or choose a species to replicate? (I'm *terrible* at drawing from imagination, so I always look through moth & butterfly identification manuals for inspiration).
Thank you! Aha no I definitely used a reference image! I'm also not great at drawing from imagination so I tend to use a lot of references, even with subjects I draw more often. This one was a photo reference I found on pinterest :)

Some good points 👍 I really hope the derpy Dark Spawn is just a case of unfortunate timing in a cut scene. As for the world state issue I think it's a shame that they've made a direct sequel you can't continue into. But. The Witcher made 3 good games without that, so? People who want to be represented in games have little to no imagination I'm sure 😅 But I will never believe that more options, more sliders, more fun! Is a bad thing.
Sorry, the sound is a bit quiet at the beginning and it gets louder when I finish talking. I forgot to turn down the volume of the music! I'll get the hang of video editing some day...
