Guiding My Patient's Scoliosis Recovery | Physical Therapist Live Session
I’m almost 69 and I do 100 squats a day.
❤ When I was twenty two years old I set a personal record doing six hundred fifty body weight squats in one hour ❤ I really wasn't that sore that day after but the next day and for the next four days it was all I could do just to be able to get up off the toilet, out of a chair and could barely walk without collapsing ❤
Why are you putting heart emoji’s through your comment?
@fullarmourtracksuit4023 Emphasis on my passion and really great memories
❤. I'm been doing twenty two squats while holding a nineteen pound stone every morning for four years and an average of seventeen pushups every morning as well . A twenty five pound steel barbell plate that I do curls with one hand and then the other doing around thirty with each hand every third day and I am sixty five now. I am so dedicated to my exercise regimen that it is like second nature and I just do it in the morning before I go anywhere and it sets me feeling really good with the rest of the day ❤
I was doing pretty much the same thing as you except I was using two 20 pound dumbbells while I did my 25 squats. Did that for years, and one day when I was midway through my set and my lower back suddenly felt like I ruptured a disc or something. I had sciatica for about a month after that and stopped using the weights from then on. I'm 69 now.
30 squats every day from doing nothing ? I don't think so. What you do is you ease yourself into it and be sensible using 30 squats a day as your GOAL not a starting point.
If you can’t do 3 squats on the hour for 10 hours you need to be in the emergency room. Then 5 for 6 hours, 10 for 3 hours until you can do a full 30 in a single set.
If you can't do squats do quarter squats.
So true
Calm down they’re not that hard to do with no weight
Wow. Great summary and back up research ❤
It just looks like an intro
???
Great❤❤❤
😂 not true in the slightest.
.... AI ... didn't know robots needed physical training...
are you joking?
You might be thinking, 'Dr Rob....are you a robot' ? 😂
Which movie is Leo in? In this clip
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood!
I'm looking forward to doing this! 🤗
Bs😊
Hey @joze8722, you must be a beast in the gym, this is really meant for people just starting their fitness journey, not for professionals like yourself, but I encourage you to try this in the gym, squat everyday for 30 days and see how you feel, if you are up to it, I did it and let me tell you, it is not easy, but man when you finally recover, your legs strength will go to another level, Cheers.
@@spectrumtherapeutics👍
Thanks
❤❤❤
What is FUPA?
If this is true, I don't think it happens naturally. With the amount of chemicals in literally everything we use and consume our hormones have been targeted.
💯 .. it is happening at a much faster pace because of these toxins
Here I thought it was tennis elbow until it moved to my right knee as well
It's not about estrogen, your whole body starts to fall apart when you age because of dna failing to replicate, we are programmed to die at a certain age. Of your words were true men would instantly evaporate 😂 women with PCOS have less estrogen in their bodies and they live up to 90-100 like others do. Your logic is so flawed.
I believe this is true.
You can keep your spine straight in a bent over position too. His issue was spinal flexion not hip flexion.
😂 that's not shoulders. That's lats and it needs to be pulled in front. What kind of physical therapy are you?
@@MsRosecrystal 🤔 uhm when you pull the bar back it forces your stabilizers to kick in as well as the scapular stabilizers .. anyone who knows anything knows it’s a lat exercise .. that’s self explanatory .. and no it does not need to be pulled in front .. you need to get out of your shell
Dr. Rob looks like he actually works out, I'm gonna take his advice 🤣
Nope. That's glutes and hip flexor. A fupa need decrease calories, increase activity consistently
@@MsRosecrystal 💯 but it helps tremendously when your lower abs and transverse abdominus are tight and conditioned .. and yes strong hip flexors will most certainly give you a flatter tummy by keeping your lumbar spine in a more neutral alignment .. NOT a glute exercise not even close
The first thing is if have no one to assist you when you get home ☹️😣😖😫😩🥺😢😭.
Not sure what your comment is implying @bettyHall-r5n .. following injury, the one thing I notice the most in my athletes is not wanting to give the body enough time to recover before wanting to get back to training, this will in every event prolong recovery
Great advice and song choice 😎
Wooden Swinging The Arm That is not on the ground and different Direction and the very Speed do the same thing even without the rubber the rubber band that's the question
Yes this is true, the band, however, will add increased tension on the rotator cuff muscles on the arm that is on the ground, but first, people should start without the band if never done this before. Great Point.
You are a moron. People get insurance to pay for meds.
I love a good challenge!
Glad they last because I don't plan on ever doing it again.
The tail bone does move. It's sat on all day so it gives.
Thanks for the comment.. When you sit in a slumped or slouched position, you are sitting on your sacrum not your coccyx.. instead you should be sitting in an erect position or on the ishial tuberosities .. and no the coccyx is a fused bone which does not move unless it’s fractured
That is personal, very personal 🖤...
If you look at the latest studies, while training to failure promotes muscle growth, it’s actually probably best to leave one or two reps in the tank for most sets, and then only hit failure on the last set. It promotes the max amount of muscle growth that way.
Thanks for the comment, I listened to that episode as well as, I like to mix it up often, training to failure on each set keeps the weight down and the injuries at bay.
In india 🇮🇳 anything gose 😂 if you ask an indain he will give you 1000 resons why it's right ✅️ what ever this gentleman is doing. Never tust an Indian 😅
Spot on, Great advice Rob!
Thank you sir. Having a plan and executing that plan takes focus.
Using that thumb to hit that b button 😂
He looks like a tail bone jakass
It looks.. The way it looks lol.. But I've heard that this is amazing pain relief for people who are really suffering. Aparently tailbone issues are extremely painful
Finally someone who agrees with me. These guys are perverts
I fell down a flight of carpeted stairs around 30 years ago. My tail bone gives me a lot of hurt sometimes. My Dr said this doesn’t help as it just goes back, he said surgery to take it off still leaves pain. He suggested a special cushion seat, I haven’t received it yet. But yeah he said that it was thought sticking a finger up the butt and pushing it back in place was a thing. But it just reverses. So no I don’t think this guy is a pervert. He’s trying to help but I’m told it’s temporary and will go back to where it was. I got told by a different Dr years ago that it could snap off in child birth. I had identical twins so had a c section and didn’t have to worry. All the best to all of you who get this. It sucks!
Thank you Dr. Normal!
This is abuse
Imagine getting a bill after this 😂😂
Looks like Michigan state’s gymnastics program
😂😂
Let the DR do his job! 😡
No absolutely not
@@jacknackly5321 you full of crap, it’s obviously a staged video, stop acting like you don’t know this already. Also we know chiropractors are not respected by real doctors
Omg 😳
Hahaha it’s crazy!! 😂😂
For views of course.
Also for patients which is wild. On the bottom of many of their videos, their CTA is to call them if they want an adjustment 💀
Hey doc, i appreciate the shoulder fix. Can you get your thumb out of my ass though?
LOL
Oh nah 💀
If anything like this happened in this country, they’d be filing bankruptcy after all the lawsuits!
Im suddenly interested in being a chiropractor
🤣🤣
