I’m 47 years old from Rochester NY. When I was in the second grade I remember watching a movie about a young boy who carved a boat out of wood and sent it down the river. I was obsessed with this movie to the point where years later I would ask my brothers and classmates I grew up with if they remember such a movie but unfortunately none of them did. I’ve asked librarians,teachers,random people for years. While watching this clip and hearing the details of the book that was the inspiration for the class project I thought “Holy crap… that sounds exactly like the movie I’ve been searching for all these years. I typed in “Paddle to the Sea” on TH-cam and voilà… there it was. 40+ years later my journey is complete. It got to the point where I even started thinking maybe I dreamt the whole thing. This is a very very happy day for me. I actually cried tears of utter happiness. Thank you to the person who uploaded this video and to the little girl(now adult) and to the little boy who found the message for bringing me such happiness and relief.

We need to focus on mental health first and letting people know that they actually matter. Mental health is the #1 reason of being homeless

I decided to take everything that I have to stay at my favorite motel room. The Royal Windsor motel on Huron line. When times are hard, this place has proven safe. Why is dumping vehicles in bodies of water not a crime scene. They would have had owners at one point. Might be body or two in a trunk. It was a crime growing up to pollute waterways like that. Do you not remember love canal, or port hope cleaning up after uranium processing mess.

Ive been homeless twice, I love you sister, keep the faith many of us know your struggles and that we are all closer to the streets than the billionaires that pull the strings, it is only by God's grace.

I'm about to be homeless at 65. Like everyone I have a long story. I am keeping my Faith that God does love all of us.

It could be that the people believe it's up to the government to do something for them and the Gov is wondering why the people will not organize resources for them. The churches are waiting for God to do something. Where are the churches btw? Where are the Catholics? Where are the Muslims? Where are the Jehovah's Witnesses? Where are the synagogues and where are the Hindus? Where am I?
