Leo on his walk.
We rescued Leo via the RSPCA in Cornwall on 20th July 2023. After four weeks he's doing so well, and his recall to my whistle is getting better every day. I still use a trailing lead as we have to cross some lanes on our walks.

Sailing 53nm from Salcombe to Falmouth, on a pretty direct course. Just me and my boat, and a few dolphins.
Falmouth Bay and Dolphins

On Sunday 22nd August 2021 I took Lucy out for a long day sail along with a friend. It was an amazing day; not too hot, and just enough breeze to keep us going. We sailed out of Carrick Roads, through the middle of the Manacles, and almost as far as Lizard Point, before turning and heading over the bay towards the Dodman. Here we turned for Falmouth, the point at which we were joined by a pod o...
Plymouth to Mevagissey - 8/8/17

Heading from Plymouth towards Falmouth, but ended up in Mevagissey for three days. Filming made just off Downderry and Seaton in Whitsand Bay on the south coast of Cornwall.
Eastport Pram self build. 2016.
มุมมอง 33K7 ปีที่แล้ว
I built this Chesapeake Light Craft designed Eastport Pram last year, to be used as a lightweight tender. It's one of the best things I've ever made, and I love it. So easy to row, and barely noticeable towed behind my sailing boat.
Cornish Yawl - CY25 Lucy - November sail in Falmouth Bay, UK.

1st November 2015. 16 Celcius. Easterly F4. I took Lucy for a stunning sail to the Manacles point and back, with speed barely falling off below 5kts and often at 6.5kts on a reach.

106 miles on my Brompton
มุมมอง 8309 ปีที่แล้ว
Since it was a promising to be a nice day I cycled 106 miles to the coast on my Brompton. It went very well, but it was tough climbing over the Cambrian mountain range. I didn't do it for charity, just for myself, to give my heart a good test.

Nice boat and build video. What is the grayish-blue floor. Is that some kind of non-slip surface paint or material?

Nice build. Would you mind sharing an update video how is that boat doing to this day? Is it still holding great?

Great build! What did it cost? Also, how many can ride in it?

Thanks. I can't fully remember the cost. I guess about £750 all in, but that includes getting some tools. I have had 3 in it in calm conditions.

Hello, your boat was perfect, a dream, I would very much like to be able to build one along with my little son and to sail in the moments of leisure. Do you have the project with the measures so that I can make an equal? I would be eternally grateful, it would be a dream come true. My email is glauberpsa@gmail.com If you have the project and you can send it, I thank you

Nice build! how long did she take from start to finish?

Thanks. I spent about 100 hours on it, and it was worth every second. The boat gets a lot of use and creates a lot of attention wherever we go with her. Super easy to row; I easily keep up with inflatables with 2.5hp engines.

Thanks Steve. I love using her. She rows like a dream, and there's always someone who wants to talk about the build.
