I was 11 when this came out,riding my bike with a small transistor radio duct taped to the handlebars nice summer day,I wanted to know who was singing this so I stopped at 'WOOLWORTHS' and asked the girls who were working there who was singing this song..instead of them telling me right away..one says..'How does it go? Can you sing a few verses? So like a moron I did..then they said..I'm not getting the rhythm of it..can you dance a little bit? Louder!! Faster!! Yup..I danced around too! Then the other girls who worked there came around to have a look-see at the little monkey bouncing around and singing,They broke out in hysterical laughing..no,I wasn't embarrassed But I was pissed off..so I gave them double middle fingers..then I remembered my aunt worked there and I began nervously looking around to see if my aunt had seen!..I looked behind me..ohh no..here she comes! And she has a wooden spoon (still had the price tag on it) she starts swinging! I caught a few but nothing serious..my aunt still laughs about watching me singing dancing and not realizing the girls were just egging me on for a laugh..she didn't like the middle fingers though,She never told my parents else I would have gotten worse
