This trial has been out for a minute and people still suck at it. People randomly rotate the wrong way on coronation, and people still can't get ice right. Outer takes north, inner takes south. People just constantly get confused. The timing on it is quite forgiving too, so I'm just like "guys, just take your time!" but people always feel the need to rush which ends up causing everyone to die.

Ice phase is painful. I've cleared this extreme several times by now and it's the only mechanic I'm still messing up. Sorry everyone who was in my party last sunday...

Man i feel your pain, I did all my 100 totems on week 1 mostly in pf and holy... this was honestly the easiest ex this expansion so far but people's collective braincell seems to have left the server for this one

Its sadly true, for whatever reason pf cant play the bridges... and meteors sometimes aswell.. for meteor sdome want to run 4 times because otherwise they too stupid to stand behind the first two and then move to the next move.. i stopped pf for that extreme so my suffering is less

The same dev who worked on this extreme had to give us mechanical hints in the circus lvl 100 dungeon to prepare PF for this belt to behind experience.

The amount of people on PF that even after clearing still can't do the Ice Phase correctly is astounding. Your favorite streamer might've said this was the EASIEST Extreme, but that's just bc they didn't clear it on PF with randoms on the 1st week. Whoever was the dev that came with the Ice Tethers mechanic wanted to punish the community for getting too cocky.

not that i hated DT msq, but im just utterly disappointed on how boring it was. It has its ups, but more downs for me since its just all fetch quests with literal no player agency to make it more engaging.

I feel the inaction by the WoL is one of the worst parts of it. It felt like we did nothing and that our presence wasn't required in any way shape or form. Valigarmanda didnt Temper anyone, Wuk can apparently handle the final trial just fine, and all the times, except once, that they could've brought in all the work a WoL could have done on other classes/pursuits went completely ignored. You've leveled a healer? Still just stand by while Gulool ja ja dies. You've leveled alchemist? Well we'd need a great alchemist to fix the reed fields.....which you are, oh well, better throw a party! The only time they reference it is if youre a culinarian, and even then a character mentions your food being 'alright' when, if capped, you are likely one of the best chefs anywhere.

Yes, it's rushed and not finished. But also the writing is quite bad or non-existent. Also Erenville is almost completely pointless when you have Krile, but for some reason they wanted to displace Krile story with Erenville. When you write according to some vocal fangirls, it will just make the story much weaker.

It really does suck that the writers were so stuck in the mentality that they had to do EVERYTHING in *one* launch expansion that they forgot that they could do a somewhat chill launch expansion that ends on something threatening and unknown, like a Weapon made out of Electrope and then work your way up to Sol 9 and Alexandria in the subsequent patches. They quite literally just forgot. In 3.0 not everything was solved. We only just killed the Pope at the end of 3.0 and it took 2 or so content patches before got to punch Nid around properly. Then after that was more clean-up and set-up for 4.0.
