How well did this wind up working? I’m about to do the same thing.

I put my winch on the traer tongue and used fairleads to guide the cable under the trailer then over a pulley and bcak to the front and attached to the false wall. I also used 6 foot bed rail on the floor to guide the pusher wall.

Thanks for the video, I am in the process of doing a similar upgrade, I want to keep the square tube/shaft to ensure even extension of the legs (one motor may turn faster than the other one if they are left independent) I will use a 15 splined coupling (quick disconnect) to bring each leg individually firmly onto the ground. I am having some issue with the directional rotation of each leg drive shaft. In your setting each drive shaft rotate opposite and you cannot use the square tube. On the upper part of the leg where the drive shaft goes across one side is flat and the other bulge out (because of the internal gear) normally both legs are oriented in the same direction (both bulge point to the same side of the trailer) The electric motor and its gear box should be mounted on the flat side of the leg which limits me to a single motor, unless I weld a spacer (thick as the bulge) for the second/new gear box retainers to hold on. Let see how it turns out, I may make a video about it. By the way the drive shaft that normally protrude from the flat face has to be flipped around to protrude from the bulge side, drilling of the shaft for the gear retaining pin will be needed.

Cannot just buy the lead leg gear set and switch it on my old leg. Only can be mounted one way.

Hello, I am about to seperate my landing gear just as you did, Great Job. Will you please list the parts I need to buy. I like the idea of changing out the gear kit on the passanger side rather that buyinh the new leg. I need the gear box and motor also please. I have a 2003 Keystone Challanger and I believe it is Lieppert landing gear. Thank you!

Absolutely perfect. I have always had the exact complaints that you cited, under powered, SLOW, straining the single motor, and that ridiculous bar right in the way all of the time. On my list to do. Thank you

So did you put a Winch in both sides of the Fence & just rotate it back and forth from winch to winch Pull/Push?🤔

so is each motor on its own fuse or they both run on the factory 30 amp fuse? sorry if you mentioned it i just skimmed the video

I have seen this before but one end of the chain was mounted to the arm so when curled out it would tighten the chain pulling the material out.

Good when they work, But a pain in the arrs when it fails, or when battery fails , we had them on some old trailer's years ago, we had two failures and had to use the zed bar it comes with if it fails,,,,a very very long day😕 the second failure was due to the roll pin shearing off the main drive, very weird , But when it works, very bliss I must say🤘 💚 It thank you for showing
