Exploring Lodi Lake/Mokelumne River with our amazing Kaboat that stores under our RV sofa.
A Kaboat is an amazing compact inflatable boat, that easy is to set up and stores under our RV sofa. Because we don't have to remove it after every trip, it is always ready to use. Our boat takes less than 15 minutes to set up and to put away. For those wanting more information on our set-up I have created an additional video with tips, tricks, and products used to customize the boat. Here is the link. Thanks for the great video! I have onan emerald 5000 and it looks just the same. Now it cranks but fails to start, and the fuel tank is almost full. I spent some hours to replace the carburetor and fuel pump, but I found that the fuel pump is not working. I cannot see fuel coming out of the hose when I hear the cranking sound.. I'm wondering the black cable of the fuel pump should connect to somewhere? I couldn't see the instruction about that in the video, I hope to find the solution for the fuel pump.

    How did you access the power supply for the fuel pump? My pumps (+) wire runs somewhere underneath the generator unit itself. Between the bottom plate it sits on and the generator unit. At this point I'm about to just cut it and butt connect the new one's power wire on.

    grrat video. my issue is spark. looking at the plug. It sparks once and only once each time I try to start it. Also if I push and hold the stop buttom on the generator to prime the motor the fuel pump does not run. But if I connect the battery directly it runs. My guess is the circuit board. What do you think?

      Make sure you cut your 1/2 wrench so that it still fits into the box but long enough to give you the leverage to break it loose. Make sure you are using a good quality wrench in the first place so that you do not strip the corners of the nut. They make a penetrating oil for stubborn nuts. Check with home depot or Lowes to see what they recommend. I hope you get that taken care of.

    Hi Greg, I have be obsessing with your videos. Thank you so much! We are renovating a 1994 Fleetwood Flair. YOur giving me inspirations. We are reroofing ours! I'm choosing colors for decals now. We are going with the same colors you chose. I may have to order samples too. Did you use premium vinyl, standard vinyl and metalic vinyl? Color options can be limited dependiing on wich type of vinyl is used. If you have your color choices available it could help us. Thank you.

    • @welcometomoorerving5800
      @welcometomoorerving5800 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well I am so glad that this is helping. I got the standard decals. These had a guarantee of 5 years. I did get more than 5 years out of them. However, I wish I had gotten the 10 year decals because they are starting to fade. This September we will have owned the motorhome for over 10 years! Crazy right? However, I was smart enough to buy "extra" when I originally ordered. So as those areas faded, I just added the same color over them and it looks new again. So if you think you will keep your motorhome longer you might consider doing that. What model do you have? What interior color do you have?

      We have 1994 Fleetwood Flair P30 maybe its model 30H. Same colors as yours. We are reroofing ours. The motor home was a gift with some damage from leaking at skylight so the bathroom mostly and a little in the bedroom from back corners. We have everything off the roof bought new fans and vent caps. Keeping refrigerator vent and air conditioner for now. I've got to clean that up but it was working. The RV was a gift. My grandchildren are one of our motivations and my husband is a builder and mechanic jack of all trades. Im the researcher and purchaser and put in some effort too. 5 hours on the roof scrapping up dicor. cleaned it with the carpet cleaner rental and did the ceiling like you suggested. You gave me inspiration! Thank you so much! Next will be all the hoses, brakes, tuneup and tires. Still lots to do but we are hitting it hard. DIYers. In our 60's too. My aching body LOL

      @@katrinaproctor1682 Here are those hidden videos with the links. I did not make them public because they are too specific. Thank you for your additional comments. I will just say that I did make a mistake by replacing our 13,500 BTU air conditioner with a new 15,000 BTU air conditioner. My original one worked just fine, however i thought I would get better cooling with a bigger one. I spent $1000 on the new one! However, The problem with the new one was that you could not get it down to 65 degrees because it would freeze up. The other big problem was when it did cool down, you cold not go to a lower fan speed because again it would freeze up. So at night the new ones are so much more noisier than the older one was. So again if the older one is still good try and keep it. Since there are many windows in the motorhome the best way to keep in the cold in is to buy Reflectix and cut it to fit each window and hold it up by rolling down the blinds. Here are those links again from the comments. Hi Katrina, thank you for your comment. We still have the motorhome, we now have 125,000 miles on it, and it is still running strong. I created 2 "Easter Egg" videos for owners of these motorhomes. I also have a separate TH-cam channel Called: "Welcome to Moore RVing" with other videos of the Motorhome. In the first Easter Egg video, I talk about the original brochure that shows Tank Capcities, and other cool info. This bike was really easy to assemble th-cam.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

My recommendation is to just be patient and check Craigslist about every 2 days. The bigger areas like San Francisco and Sacramento will have more adds because of the larger populations. If you do not live in California search in the largest populations near you. I hope this helps. Happy RVing.

      Hi Rebecca, our Class A Motorhome 26R it's 26.10ft long. We are able to drive the motorhome around without a tow car. We also do not have slides so we are only 96" wide 100 % of the time. We do a lot of day trips with our motorhome. We do not have an awning, carpet kits, etc. so we have the ability to easily move around. E-bikes are wonderful, and although they can be used to ride around for larger tourist areas, for places like Yellowstone you still need to be able to drive around. There are also some areas that although we could ride our bikes , sometimes you have to share the narrow roadways with vehicles, which is sometimes not safe. I would say that if your camping style is 4 to 5 days in the same camping site then consider a tow car. But if your style is 2 days here and then 2 days there you might want to see if you can camp with just the bikes and your motorhome. Here's a tour of our motorhome that shows how we park when taking up only a single space. I hope this helps. Happy RVing. th-cam.com/video/Wd_LWJpaCfI/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=WelcometoMooreRVing

"I CAN'T START MY GENERATOR" It's has been two years since last time it was running, so I started by checking oil level full at gen dipstick (it won't start if low oil because of sensors) then I checked gasoline more than 1\4 tank in the RV (also safety sensors), sparkplug checked for good spark, also checked the manual reset circuit braker ( to be ON) at front motorhome engine compartment for 12v current to the generator to be able to start it, also cleaned the carburetor and even installed new one but same situation, then checked wires and found some has been chewed like gum by rats at the back of starting switch generator panel so I replaced them, at this time the generator started but stay running only by keep pushing the switch on all the time, so then finally I knew it was internal electrical problem from the engine itself, so I took the generator out from my RV to work in my garage, (I did this by myself with some tools and old Mayan tricks ) lol, it's really heavy for one person. I disassemble the unit at my garage and started by removing the cover, then the cooling fan or flywheel unit (it's 2 items in one) until finally I was at the gen rotor and brushes assembly area and this is what I found: one more wire chewed by filthy rats plus the stinky rat nest in the middle of the generator motor coil, I fixed the wire and sanded the commutator copper contacts where the brushes are sitting becouse they were real duty with old urine from the rats, and of course I got rid off the stinky nest, lol!!! Then I assembled everything back together and... bingo it's runing like a champion!!! For this project materials involved was about $60.00 including an aftermarket new carburetor and an harmonic balancer/steering wheel puller (available at any auto parts for $25.00) to pull the aluminum fan out and (flywheel). Just picture this: (Any gasoline engine run smooth if gasoline and DC current aren't interrupted) so following this important principle you'll always find the problem to be fixed. Also if you have a onan microlite 4000 like mine, don't run it for more than a minute without the cover because you'll cook the engine real fast, also keep the eye on the aluminium fan and your fingers after cranking it in case you missing one or two members...just kidding, lol!!! After testing the gen then I did put the air cooling assembly back and the rest of components including the cover, now it's ready to be installed at my RV. Once the gen was installed back at my motorhome I started it to be tested for electric power but not before flipping the electric switch (on) at the gen starting control panel (sometimes hiding under or around the panel) to transfer power to my RV GFCI main outlet and electric panel as well, my motorhome it's equipped with GFCI so I reset it and tested for green led light indicating power is ready at my main breakers panel, so I turned my main breaker (on) along the others ones but no power was present at my breaker main switch (faulty main braker) so I flipped it many times, sometimes you can make it work again, mine did work, lol!!! I'm happy because everything works now including the ref for cold drinks and AC for this crazy summer, lol! Later I'll buy me a new main braker, for now this is a resurrected generator story that needed to be shared. If this can help eaven one person to save time and $$$ it'll make me more happy, thanks for reading!!!

      I am really surprised how good the design is. My wife and I have never been concerned about tipping over. For more sources of info such as specs, types, accessories, and prices I would check out boatstogo.com. I hope this helps.
