Man, you're doing such a wonderful job preparing them for their sport and the people who will love them! And their cuteness factor is enough to turn me into a sentimental sap dying to have a pup fall asleep in my lap again. "Don't spoil them," they say! "Oh, shut up. Having a pup fall asleep in your lap or resting their head on your shoulder are the best moments in life," I say! 😄

Fascinating monument... Every veteran returning from Vietnam and Cambodia I've ever met had high praise for the Hmong people, using terms like hearty, robust, generous and friendly to describe them. The Hmong were heroes renowned for their ability to rescue and provide safety for pilots who'd been shot down, including those that Army and Marine units couldn't recover because of tough terrain and navigation issues. Appreciate you sharing this!

I'm particularly impressed that she doesn't go off line and run the bank, something I never quite pulled off with my girl. Ultimately, I didn't care that she ran banks because I didn't have the time to commit to trial level work. She handled well enough that I don't think we ever lost more than a couple of birds on hunting trips over all our years together, and she was better at marking birds than I was. (lol) Shooting a double, I might turn 180 degrees in the blind to hit the second bird and have no idea where the first one went down other than knowing it was somewhere behind me, but she'd have at least a general idea and even if she had to hunt around until she winded it, she'd come up with it. Hunting over good dogs is the best! I used to hunt some public areas and couldn't understand the guys duck hunting without a dog. If their bird went down across a ditch too deep to cross, they were flat out of luck. And I'd see guys endlessly struggling in thick cattails looking for birds they'd never find. Countless times on our way back to the parking lot, guys would ask if I could send my dog to look for birds they couldn't find or get to, and they'd be thrilled to watch her handle to the general area and bring back their bird. I never felt a greater sense of pride than to watch my dog do that for somebody. Beautiful dog and excellent work. Loved watching this!

Loved this! So many beautiful dogs, beautiful places and special events! This sparked so many memories for me. One of your black labs in particular caused me to think of many great days with a special lab that passed 36 years ago. The fact that I still miss her 36 years later is a testament to the amazing bonds we form with our hunt partners and value as family. More recently, 7 months ago, I again had to say goodbye to our yellow lab, Abbey. Thanks so much for sharing your passion and your many wonderful moments with these amazing dogs.

I would believe the dog should have smelled that bird a 100 times going back and forth in there.......It does look like it is pretty windless though.

My black lab has pointed before but she's never stayed that still. What is she pointing at?

Well it was steadier than most guys dogs, but it showed lack of nose as it has to be right on top of the bird.....and it was lead to the bird...... just saying..... but better than most "pointing labs" I have seen on youtube.
