Legendary!
I have a weird obsession with black women with tooth gaps. I think it's so pretty

CLASS ACT 🎉
NE will never mention DAF.... strange.
Thanks for watching.
I really appreciate that your ranking is not consumed with being annoyingly nerdy and myopically obsessive about things like what personnel were involved, production and synth sounds, or whether or not live drums are used, etc.; rather, it’s from the heart (It’s Called a Heart, indeed!) and based on life experience as it should be with the music art form. Like I myself, you value all kick ass eras of Mode. I also got into them during the SGR/Black Celebration era (and attended the 101 Rose Bowl), so I could totally relate to sniffing your nose at the fans that joined around Violator or Devotion. I personally would not be able to rank their albums since they are all either in the Very Good to Classic category: probably wouldn’t exactly make for an interesting, drama-filled video! I actually have my own TH-cam channel paying tribute to Mode (lots of leather-clad singing/dancing) and like minded souls. If you ever check it out, feel free to let me know how you enjoyed it.
Great comment. Would love to check out your Channel. Thank you for watching. Merry Christmas.
Hi Melanin Monarchy. There is an interview out there where Martin and Dave talk about their ancestry because they both took one of those AncestryDNA tests. It was back in 2017 on the Skavlan show. If you are interested in watching it they talk about it within the first few minutes on the unseen version of the interview. As for the background singers, I guess it adds something different to their shows but I don’t think they need them because Dave and Martin sing so well on their own and together when they harmonize.
Can you forward me that show you're talking about, please.

Took long enough! They’ve been an L.A. staple since forever.
Alan's contributions are undeniable, and he is an amazing producer and musician for sure. But I definitely disagree with most Depeche Mode fans who think that DM isn't as good without him. Depeche Mode is Martin and Dave, full stop. Recoil also shows that Alan was nothing without working on Martin's songs.
Whoa!!! Love that BOLD opinion. Definitely going to mention that tomorrow. See you on my IG LIVE 6pm pst.
А че с Дугласом? Видок у него плох.
How was the show? What's your favourite TD album?
Krasdale is better give it a try
Great and rare interview of these EBM/Industrial legends! Thank you!
Oh Gott.... wie krank ist Douglas wohl?
Ja leider! Hoffe, es geht ihm besser!
Funny and profound review. I saw them the first time when I was 15 in 1984.About 4 times after.I still love their music. The rest is a business arrangement. Thanks
Being a huge Depeche Mode fan, I remember the 1st time I met DJ Dark Chrystal at the Hully Gully. I saw the Depeche Mode Violator rose tattoo on her back. I had to talk to you after seeing the tattoo. I'm happy for your success and journey. Thank you for introducing me to this channel and another Black Depeche Mode fan like myself.
Thank you, Chrystal for introducing me to this channel
I really enjoyed this, ladies❤❤ It was delightful🖤🌹🖤
JOIN IN THE CHANT! Glad these guys are still doing it. An inspiration to all us who have/had nothing and work to Mae something out of it. Great interview. Glad to see an interviewer that cares about the band.
We're not worthy.... ;)
One, you lock the target....
Gutted knowing this is probably their last ever tour, Skinny Puppy finished last year. Sad times indeed.
This was awesome! I hope to see them live one day.
Very good interview! I still have my CD of "That Total Age" with the gear, and I listen to it as if it were the first time I bought it! Greetings from Argentina!
Muchas Gracias for watching.
Great video!
Get well soon dear Douglas. Hugs from Chile 🇨🇱🫶
@5:50 Only band I can recall back in the day sounding similar to them was Die Warzau
Damn...I love their song "Join in the Chant". It's so sad to see them old now. The Onion knight on Game of Thrones was so right. NOTHING f**cks you harder than time.
Great intervju but it makes me a little sad to see Douglas... ❤
Don't be sad. Be Prayful. Thanks for watching
@@MelaninMonarchy I will do so...

🥰👍❤👍🥰
Did the lady ever hear about D.A.F. , their influence was so obvious😅
They didn't mentioned DAF, sooooo....Thank You for watching 🙂
Please get well Douglas!!
DM is not the same w/o Alan. He crafted the DM sound that we all love!
I loved and still love the old analogue synths, I had a Roland SH09 and a Korg Poly 800 back in the day. I have two Behringer Pro 1s, a Korg ARP Odyssey and a Roland Alpha Juno 2 these days ..as well as a few others and soft synths in Ableton ...love the huge power and variety of the sounds.
Jesus, Doug is so skeletal looking. I hope he recovers from this.
LOOKING AT her I was thinking they were giving a star to THE GAP BAND
Is this a dig at me and my looks??!!!
I've always loved industrial but my white friends really took to a sublime ownership of this music. i think they wanted to be Eurotrash pretty badly.
"After years of alcohol abuse, I was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver," McCarthy said in a statement via Instagram last Friday, March 22nd.Mar 25, 2024 . Sending my preyers , best wishes , recovery and love .
Damn, that is so sad to hear. I wish him the best and hope he is out of pain. Unfortunately, I don't think you can reverse cirrhosis damage of the liver as I think that's stage 3 of the liver disease ladder.
He could potentially have a liver transplant.
What an awesome chat with a couple of great guys. Nitzer Ebb was such an influential band in my teens. Still love to listen to their music to this day. Much love and respect.
I love it ❤
Yes Melanin Depeche Mode are a soundtrack for our lives, congratulations to all that made this happen
