American already divided early on. After independence from Britain. The rebels became Americans while the American loyalists broke off as Canada but remained American by keeping the same accent, culture and vocabulary. The 'south' is *more* culturally different to the remainder of the United Sates than Canada because their accent or accents are more distinct and even culturally *very* different but despite civil war it remained part of the United States. Northern California, Oregon, Utah, Montana, Washington & British Columbia need to merge together and become *Cascadia* Maine should break away, Texas should break away. This is the future for the survival of *our people*

no mention of Obama causing division. ever heard of the tea party? both sides are repulsed by the other fundamentally. it seems the more democratic thing to do is to separate (succession light). then the best ideas will play out and we reunite or divide from there.

reorganize federalism more like EU or just abolish it all together. Current system is a failure.
