I love pelican crossings!
These traffic lights wouldn’t change to green by itself, unless you press the button🤔
Good video but I suggest recording in landscape as you will get more in the frame

It's not a pelican it doesn't flash. It's just a toucan.

These aren't Optics, they're TLED'S
Hi, I recommend filming at 25 FPS (Settings → Camera → Record Video and turn on Show PAL Formats; make sure you have the latest version of iOS) to reduce light flickers on camera, since they refresh at 50 Hz in the UK.
The familiar audible signal is never heard at what's known as “staggered” crossings (2 separate crossings connected by a short pathway).
This went amber to cars the moment you pressed that button.

I do like the old PEEK elite traffic lights but I'm not a fan of the new PEEK TLED traffic lights.

a GEC Plessy later siemens red man and green man and 1990s microsence red amber green traffic lights and another GEC red man and green man on the other side

Stupid video. I only watched it to see the puffins crossing but there weren't any.
The Puffin Crossing is Pedestrian User Friendly Intelligent, the ones with the special cameras and lights that track pedestrians as they or if they wish to cross, and not stop the traffic any more than they have to.
