Wierd. The Hyper Beam is supposed to do insane damage, meaning Raven Beak X has a ton of HP. But you could defeat him here, so that means the Hyper Beam was nerfed in the cutscene, or your weapons are buffed. My theory is that the Metroid Beam does infinite damage, and was reduced to regular damage for Raven Beak X.
