Trying to contact Kyle here. I'm a person who makes short youtube videos telling personal stories. I was hoping to use some of your footage in one of my stories. The videos are entirely non-commercial. The video I'm working on right now is about the low-level existential anxiety people my age grew up with as kids in North Dakota. All the missile silos nearby, the duck and cover drills, etc. I wouldn't use more than a few seconds of your footage for a couple different spots. I would give you full credit for your footage. I wanted to buy that site. It was awfully cold up there. After seeing the decay and knowing the cleanup costs and toxic materials I just couldn’t justify it. I wanted to use the missile silos for SNR’s it would have been perfect since it has the glycol heat transfer systems. I figured 25 or so would produce enough power for the whole state.

The pyramid, or tactical side is owned by the Economic Development Group in Langdon ND. They give tours in the summer time if you call and make a reservation. The other side is owned by a Private company who intends to turn it into a Industrial Agricultural Park. Trespassers are prosecuted. The site is under camera surveillance.

Would be interesting to see what the inside of this pyramid bldg looks like.. Does anyone know of such a video?

I was just there yesterday and have been in contact with the folks who are redeveloping it.This is a great video, Kyle, but just one small correction. They are very clear that the site was operational for around 15 months, but still a travesty that it was decommissioned so quickly and discarded so hard after its 1976 decommissioning. They are hoping to turn it into a hardened server farm, and have been doing extensive outreach. Still a long road ahead. One important note also is that it is acknowledged that the construction of this and the Russian's huge radar wall in Siberia led to deescalation talks. It was the apogee of the Cold War, a giant chess piece on the Great Plains...
