Hawaiian Airlines is the only airline that still does that on domestic flights.

Oh my God this brings back so many memories of flying on those beautiful DC-10s. I’m a flight attendant and miss them dearly. Those giant movie screens that had to manually be put up for take off! Thanks for the video :)
Did you work for northwest? They flew them well into the 00’s I believe. I remember having the option to fly them to London, but always opted for AA or UA 777’s. I regret that now.
@@JustinLHopkins yes! From 1995 to 2008 and now on my 24th year flying but at Delta. The DC-10 was retired in 2007 and “replaced” by the A330s. The DC-10 had a bad rap but it was an amazing airplane and loved dearly at NW. Very flight attendant friendly. Airplanes now aren’t the same - it’s hard to explain.

Classical. Looking at passenger experience in air travel now makes my eyes bleed. I miss those golden 1990s flying days.
love flying in the 90s but let's be real. Things are different but not all for the worst. things improved drastically in some aspects but also changed for the worst in others. but you can still find amazing service on flights. especially when you realize a lot of the fa's from the 90s still fly today. The older crew i always find to be the nicest and most experienced :))
