QJ and tololo still the best for f2p it's much easier to max their weapon/character dupes, well most players in cn doing meta and spread their resources I like maxing my fav so I go for dupes instead,

(EN) I had to dump most of my F2P collapse gems on Suomi to get her to V1, and get Makkioto (but no dupes sadge) I hope the upcoming releases wont be successful in tempting me to pull for them until Klukay or Springfield comes out 😅

Hey quick question. Do you know what the average pull count is for an f2p per character patch on CN? I’m still saving for later characters (vector(V1) klukaiV0, Andoris, Springfield) but I want to know how flexible I can be.

Meta is just a combination that make the game easier. Off meta is another way of playing that give the game a challenge. In the end of the day, what matter is where the fun lies. For meta, for challenge or for waifu. All is valid. GL with pulls.

Thanks for the in depth guide! Just a minor note at 5:50 that her S2 does have a cooldown, and running out of CI can become an issue on some longer fights if you aren't constantly weaving in ults.

wanted Andoris and Belka but dont have/probably not pulling for any other part of the electric team... i guess im going to be left with 3 half teams lmao but i do play for waifu over meta

Hard decision, I don't care about anyone till Vector for my burn team (Cent is an easy skip) and maybe Peri. Then Springfield and maybe Klukai. It seems like a good time to pull for her but ugh, Im not so sure...

I see QJ,Vector Qiuhua with Ksenia or Sharkry for fire team and imo they're so well balanced imo.

The problem with this is that it is f2p chart. v0 and v1 consideration mostly in terms of limited chars. I'd like to see analysis of just v6 taken into account.

After receiving Tololo and Peritya alongside their sign weapon, the game decided for me to focus on corrosion and hydro which I am actually fine with it. Other than that I'll eventually get character I want outside of these teams like Makiato and Lenna

Interesting to see heavy usefulness units that we have right now like Makiatto, QJ, and Tololo retaining usefulness long term, definitely justifying investment in them. I'm surprised to see Daiyan stick so well at the top of the list since the conventional wisdom right now is to skip her.

They've really done electric dirty. I like Lenna and Jiangyu, but I'm not a huge fan of Belka and Andoris. Guess I'll just do a jank team till they release more electric units.

Those people that said save for Klukai are justified, she herald the coming of Squad 404 members. Klukai and Mechty for Corrosion, Vector for Burn, Andoris and Belka for Electric. All being good on their respective teams.

1. Love this. Metrics > subjective opinions always. 2. From a whale who plays plenty of other gacha, it's interesting to see that GFL2's top meta units sans Suomi are all DPS which is beyond rare -- most games have supports operate as the new meta lever. My prediction is that Faye is the beginning of the next team comp: physical. Comments from the devs strongly suggest they have plans for physical. What is common with GFL2 is that it takes heavy vertical investment for many of these units to function properly. 3. What elemental weaknesses are meta? For instance in HSR, virtually every boss in the game since launch has been weak to either Imaginary or Fire. Ice fell off a cliff in both Genshin and HSR simply because they stopped making Ice weak end game stages. What is this like in GFL2?

brooo this is awesome! this will help players, especially f2p and low spenders, decide whether or not to pull for a certain unit to boost their team now or wait for the meta top tier units. pulling for certain units now might let them enjoy the game at its current phase so at least they will know for how long this unit will be "useful" for. thanks! looking forward to more contents like these. keep it up!

wow, i think im blind/dont read. i thought that the buffs it shows you in the beginning was for the actual buffs they would apply in the middle of the fight, i feel so stupid, im already level 50 and i didnt know this was a thing lmfaoooo

My opinions stay the same, I will be holding strong until I can pull for Squad 404 members. Just hoping UMP45 is a strong lightning DPS to pair with UMP9

Because of the wack release order, I have a great Ice team and zero hydro units, and no reason to pull for Daiyan or Jiangyu. I might anyway because cute, but Suomi carry from the very beginning is kind of odd. For standard units, I guess I should pick Tololo because of her future proof nature and I already have planeta. I really want to get Peritya but she doesn't seem nearly as useful. Really well done chart and the details are super helpful.
