I was finally able to fulfill a hiking trip to the Faroe Islands and found out you played in front of Villingardalsfjall three days after I summited it. I am sitting here at home in Oregon as I am blankly staring at the past tour dates. On my hike, a local told me about a music festival happening soon and I didn’t think to check the artist list. I could cry right now 🥺

Congrats on completing the tour; I wish I could have made it to one of the shows, but I was not able to. Perhaps next time! I'm also happy on completing my musical project too. Also, I agree that lasagna is usually always good.

On Bands in Town it says your coming to Mablisfestivalen and Stavanger next weekend? The festival advertising with a rapartist also called Tyr, sounds like Bands in Town is wrong here.

Now I understand why I saw you handed strings at the VIP, Heri. Acoustic set was very good. Horseshoe was a weird venue for me, very hot. But, the show was very memorable. I hope you guys can do a UK tour or at least a couple UK shows (since the last full tour we had was 2014). I had tickets for the Manchester show before the whole HRH debacle derailed the whole thing!

First heard of Tyr after TH-cam reviews of your latest album. I’ve listened to all your albums now and you are one of my all-time favourite bands. Where have you been all my life😂 Torkils dotir is one of my all-time favourite songs and I listen to it virtually every day. Wish I could afford to see you abroad but hope to see you in the UK. Thanks for your amazing music and excellent podcast. Keep holding the heathen hammer high!!!

To comment the answers: Gunnar - you expend more energy during one song on stage than anybody I know during their 8-hour deskjob shifts. If that isn't full body workout, I don't know what is! Your air-dried fermented fish sounds like something I absolutely will have to NOT try, the Brennivin (great song BTW!) was the only redeeming thing with the Hakarl (shudders). Palinka and jello-shots on the other hand made it onto my to-do list, thanks for that. 😎 Hope to see one of your gigs this year somewhere in Europe. You guys rock.
