I can say confidently that the missing link to this puzzle is the earth is not moving or rotating. The earth is not a heliocentric globe or a flat plane like the world is arguing over. The earth is concave and the celestials are all inside a spherical firmament at the center of it all.

What is all the more remarkable about H.A. REY is that he is neither a mythologist, nor an astronomer, nor an astrologer. He's a child-book author. I hope that one day someone will do justice to his constellation plots and make them official.

I know I don't interact with all of your content and I was only able to purchase a couple of your books, but I do want to say here that there are things in your work I greatly appreciate and drawing attention to HA Rey's The Stars is one of them. I do think some constellations do also have alternate figures, and IIRC you sometimes point these out in your own books. One of the other things that helped me to 'see' Sagittarius was comparing tarot decks. In the Thoth deck Art is associated with Sagittarius and The Star with Aquarius. Both deal with pouring vessels. But if you check the artwork for Art and look at the sleeve and bared forearm that's the 'bow' and the cauldron like vessel below is the Southern Crown. And if you look at Temperance (equivalent to Art in the Thoth deck) on a Marseilles style deck, the gown bodice has that triangular shape of the Sagittarius 'head'. Different artwork but same apparent correlation. I think you may have discussed this in one of your works. Did you? How Sagittarius was also Siduri the alewife and the Southern Crown was her vessel? Anyway, I also support teaching people, especially children these ways to see the stars. Also, we could get different colors/temperatures of streetlamp that reduce light pollution and are more friendly to wildlife while directing light toward streets and walks for safety.

I can draw the "teapot" (and the rest of the bow), but the legs of the Archer are hard for me to see, as they are far to the south and I have a lot of light pollution to the South. Virgo, Ophiuchus, Scorpio easy to see--Hydra is very long. I share them with people on my stargazing tours, using a laser. How did the ancients do it without a laser? ... But in more general terms of the star myths, I'm not sure I understand yet. The best I can tell, the ancients had a language of symbolism, rather than letters and an alphabet, to oversimplify things a bit. But then what does Sumerian cuneiform say? What about the ancient city/archaeological site of Eridu in Iraq, and other sites that indicate some of the ancient cuneiform tablets were talking about real history? Doesn't this suggest that might be true history, similar to Iliad and Troy? Can they be both true and allegorical, because people's minds used to work differently? I'm really reaching here and I lack any real understanding; I'm just asking questions as it seems to me some people who are not Biblical literalists are claiming there is evidence to suggest the ancient tablets talked about some real places, beings, and events. That being said, I get that a lot of the Bible is just recast older stories. But I'm also open to the possibility that Christ was a real historical figure who fit into the mystery traditions in a unique way that made them physical (i.e. Rudolf Steiner's Christianity as Mystical Fact). I can somewhat see what you're talking about with HA Rey's constellations and the art and stories you depict, but my mind has a hard time with it because, in my estimation, I don't think in the allegorical and symbological way that the ancients (and maybe modern elites who are into symbolism as well) could do. There is also the broader question of whether rock art progressed from realism to abstraction; if so, then it makes no sense that written art would progress in the opposite way. And what some rock art depicts is, if not UFOs and alien-type beings, then I'm not sure what. Ultimately, I struggle to think how life and thinking used to be, I wonder if the laws of physics have changed as a spiritual evolution has occurred on Earth, and I suspect that materialistic explanations won't suffice--even for things like the ancient apocalypse/cataclysm that ended the last epoch of civilization. And the UFO question seems to suggest there is something both real and paranormal to phenomena. I have a hard time seeing myths as purely non-physical, symbolic, and mythological with no real component. "Power to tread on serpents and scorpions" is certainly an evocative and captivating line. And would also seem reasonable to me to relate the "heel reference" to Achilles myth.

The invisible energy in America during this election was extremely strong, though some of it was undoubtedly shallow, partisan and divisive. What you say is true, but at least an upwelling feeling of support and hope is better than a lack of enthusiasm for the majority. Apathy is not needed at the moment. Can greater numbers of people continue to learn more of the truth of what you say, and can some kind of change in this direction continue to be pursued, against the formidable obstacles?

A brilliant, if bleak, account of the situation today. We are all complicit in the Gaza genocide, even though we are horrified by it, because do nothing, we feel powerless, or almost, against big money and profit. Interesting and clear perspective David. Are you familiar with Rudolf Steiner's Christianity as Mystical Fact? How would you interpret that interpretation? I've heard it put in another way in more Hindu terms that Christ (here assumed to have been a real historical figure) was the Kalki Avatar made manifest.
