By now there is a lot of post-storm footage on the Internet. I am adding this to the universe of Hurricane Sandy video because it was taken the day after the storm - just after noon on October 30, 2012. It contains some of the earliest video footage filmed after the storm.

This was filmed by me early afternoon on October 30, 2012, as I was riding on the back of an OEM truck from the Toms River side of the bridge into Seaside Heights. As we headed toward the firehouse in Seaside Heights our truck was diverted into Pelican Island to rescue/evacuate Pelican Island residents who had stayed on the island during the hurricane.
