David Leech's recommendation of Cengiz for my Beyond Baroque gig was perfect, and he's such a nice guy. I look forward to watching this.
Extraordinara interpretare... felicitări!
Brendan you are a master of this style. Love it. Super clean articulation and touch. Would love to hear many more concerto’s.
Very otherwordly
Spectacular ❤
Super!
Good interpretation - thank you. Can someone explain why the piano transcription of BWV552 has been given the additional name "St. Anne"? I have not found any information on this so far. Thanks for a short explanation.
The Fugue is based on the Hymn Tune "St Anne" known as "O God Our Help in Ages Past".
@@StoreeDenson Thank you! By the Way: Could you please play "Ciacona in D Major" by Johann Joseph Fux in a future Video with your piano? There are lots of version of this charming piece with a cembalo but none played at a piano.
Bach didn't know anything about the hymn. The title was given later, mainly in the English speaking world.
Wow, spectacular. Thank you so much. Wonderful performance. 🇨🇦
I am happy to meet this amazing playing.
감사합니다!

Beautifully interpreted and executed on the piano. This is one of the giant, big-stop organ pieces. You really captured the power and majesty of this piece on the piano. Your use of mordents and trills were very clean and tasteful, which added the needed delineation and gravitas to the lines, adding clarity, reverberance, and wonderful coloring. You are a phenomenal talent.
Thank you 🙏
Superba interpretare ! Felicitari !
Great video Cengiz. I'm proud to call you my friend. All the best!
Just finished playing my solo for a judge and got the highest score! Thanks for the video Nicholas!
Congratulations. Thanks for listening....
Beautifull
Wonderful performance! Outstanding!
Fantastic!!!
Cengiz = Einstein on Piano
Amazing expression and tone. I am playing this for my solo and this helps a lot as an example. Thank you and the pianist.
Some really nice playing here. Love the selection of songs.
Excellent. I would listen to Christmas music all year if it were like this. I never want it to stop. Cougar omg what greatness on a bank front gig. And I dig the cameras Nicholas. Sorry I am from Washington. I know of Cougar and Nicholas. But who are the bass and keys?
Young Fingerstein aka Cengiz -'don't let the name scare you - after all his brother's name is Attila - Yaltkaya -- celebrating the Holidays and another milestone in his long trii-coastal career which began in Geneva, led to Boston, New York and now Los Angeles for the past twenty odd years. Play on my brother till we be gigging again.... soon I hope! Please listen, like and by all means, SHARE THIS VIDEO and spread the joy of hearing these magnificent players jam on some classics.
And again, to wake to your tinkling ivories - what a gift in this Holiday time - cheers my Maestro!
With typical modesty, Cengiz doesn't explain his definition of "event" vs. "gig," and that he's approaching 7,000 gigs! Wonderful show by all of you--Thanks for posting!
