Excellent production! Many thanks!! I've been a photographer since "film photography" was just "photography." I made the decision a few weeks ago to move into professional real estate photography. I bought a used 5D Mk.III, 16-35 f/4 L lens, and Canon 470ex-ai flash from KEH.com. My 50mm is a 1979 Summicron-M f/2 on a Leica M10 body. I enjoy macro photography, so I'll add a 100mm macro to the dSLR kit: I also like 100mm macro lenses for portraits. Demand for virtual tours is strong in my area, so I have a Ricoh Theta Z1 360-degree camera on its way to me now: for higher-end work, I can use the Canon. I've several tripods, but the one I'll be using for RE is my Manfrotto 3046, with its geared center column. It's a beast, but I'm not going backpacking with it. Carbon fiber really isn't that much lighter than aluminum, but it is more inert to vibration (all things being equal, which they never are). Even more inert, heavier, and expensive, is wood, e.g., the Berlebach tripods (I'll have one someday). I'm replacing the current fluid head on the 3046 (I bought it from a videographer) with an Acratech levelling base, panoramic head, and nodal rail. The Acratech head can be used for multi-row panos and doubles as a long lens head: it's a versatile piece of kit. Lights, in addition to the aforementioned Canon Speedlite (the 470ex-ai only works off-camera in optical slave mode, though) are a pair of Flashpoint eVOLV 200 (Godox AD200): I can gang the latter in Godox's Bowens-compatible dual head for 400w/s and use in modifiers, though that does take me from two lights to one. Trigger is the X-Pro2 TTL for Canon. I have a few more speedlights and a couple of dumb transmitter/receiver sets. Light stands, of course. The 600w/s light probably will join the kit sooner rather than later. I'm used to lighting to balance exposure, increase contrast, saturation, and definition, etc. I was studying for the Part 61 (private pilot) exam when the Corona Crazy hit, and the test prep I have combines everything including the Part 107-specific material. I'll take the exam whenever the testing center get their technical difficulties sorted so I can register for the exam. The Phantom 4 Pro would be my first choice, as well. That will come once I've started generating income from the basic services. Video is my weak spot. I'll either have to learn it or sub-contract it.
