We need that education! 17 years in this Local & I can't even begin to tell you how much misinformation I have been given because us rank & file members have no clue. Your podcast has been a gift to all of us & Local 767 should have done this years ago, especially with the rise of podcasting & TH-cam for information!
Locked out equipment can only be unlocked by the person who locked it out. This should include trucks and tractors.
Will you help Amazon Deliver Drivers in McKinney, Texas? At DDX2? We could use your help
Good luck from Southern California brothers!.
Wonder how the rest of the country is dealing with customer counters closing. Are those 22.3’s given driving opportunities, split shifting, schedule remaining the same etc
Right on time as usual
Denton is growing so much and the traffic is so bad that closing Denton doesn’t make sense. Drivers having to go from a 15 minute commute to an hour one way is not good. Many of the Denton drivers were dropped off at work each day. Going to add nearly 1000 miles a week to our truck plus the extra fuel.
Something I experienced from change of ops my route was always in at my original building I worked at. Now at this new building my route is out every Monday by them combining two zip codes . The other zip belonged to another center at the original building we came out of. I proposed language in the contract so this wouldn't happen but this union didn't listen!. I saw that shit coming!. Now I'm bumping in my zip and hate doing that!. FYI I am the senior driver in the loop!.
Not from 767, but in my local the extended building always getting neglected. I’ve also yet to meet a BA who hasn’t become complacent. It’s a shame
It's a slap in the face this greedy corporation is spending more money on technology in the back of the truck to track our movements & packages but they haven't given us air conditioning.!
Dirty windows and mirrors is definitely a safety issue. I clean them when I fuel. Everytime. Doesn’t matter how long it takes, it has to get done for my safety
My husband always tells them he will do his best to minimize the damage of having late air.
Great info as usual
Thank you guys for taking the time to educate!
What if your steward doesn’t know any of this and is a company steward? Also the BA and the executive board?
Make sure you and other members continue to educate yourself and eventually become a steward if that’s what you want. Either way, keep learning and passing the info on
Good info!
What’s the app you use to track times and hours?
Great vid!
Peak seems like such a great time to completely close one center and split it between 3 other centers. Grrrr. That hour drive in the mornings and evenings instead of the 15 minute drive is not what we are looking forward to.
Lunacy Prevails
I’ve never heard the current admin give this much info to the members. I’m not just saying that cause I’m a power 767 supporter. I’m saying it cause it’s the truth. Thanks fellaz💪🏿
Bachman destroyed Uptown safety committee with our merger. Has created quite a rift between the 2 groups who are supposed to be as one
Great information guys thank you
Thanks for this podcast, guys. As a TCD just starting Integrad today, this was super informative.
How else would we get this info other than looking it up yourself in the contract. I’m sure our members are thankful for the info this podcast provides💪🏿🙏🏿
Some drivers are having to drive from their route, back to the building facing the western sun. That windshield is like a magnifying glass. It’s deadly. Just a few minutes facing that western sun is brutal much less 30-46 minutes (example Redoak drivers in the Lonestar building).

Our (Lonestar Arlington center) acting center manager gave a PCM telling us if we don’t report misloads by a certain time, discipline will be issued. This was this month, he said that.
Closing centers so drivers have to drive longer to get on route in the heat isn’t going to be good either.
No package is worth the life of a driver, ever. It's heartbreaking to still see heat related deaths that companies could easily prevent by following the contract.
Not all counties have 911 you might have to dial the manual number, if you do dial 911 you will end up with the wrong 911 center...thus delaying the response time
You guys hit the nail on the head. Orion and the stupid fucking computer that dispatched the route or whatever the fuck they use to build routes. It over stretches you into other zip codes sometimes and Orion is fucking stupid it's exhausting. Our routes are not the same ! What happened to bid work ! ?..
TEAMSTER POWER!!!!!!
Interesting how y’all say that because our safety person ran everybody off so is all of the one person doing. Out of the McKinney hub
Lonestar, “acting center manager” in the Arlington center, sends out a messing, “ You instructed to send all misleads in by 3:00, no exceptions”. Even on the hottest day of the year.
Great show.
What I don’t understand is why BA is allowing Stewart to do discipline when it is none of their business even though that you have doctors note, they don’t even care. and when they do a spin you, they give you a posting note on the days that you cannot come into work how business profession is that?
Steward**. Article 48-When requested by the Union or the employee, there shall be a steward present whenever the Employer meets with an employee concerning grievances or discipline or investigatory interviews. If you don’t want someone to represent you, then tell them you don’t want to be represented and fight your own fight.
You dont necessarily need a steward since literally any union member who 1) knows the contract and 2) knows the process can represent you in exercising your Weingarten Rights. Former Roadway Express and Yellow Freight teamster.
There is five people in my department that has low seniority management favoritism them to stay to move post office. They get about five hours day.
Seniority list are so jacked up throughout the metroplex smh
I’m glad Keys got to say what was needed to say
Thank you guys. Great show. Good info.
Not Worth it to go full time! 1)I can transfer to any facility 2)progression 3) lose my education incentives 4)I can manipulate to make 750 hours per year to make room for gig work i.e. drone, programing radios, youtube channel, youtube editing, musician work.....I can take off for almost the whole summer and do a show run in the music industry..... can dump 35% of my pay into UPS 401K retirement plan, Teamsters Roth, Plus UPS Part time Pension....Took me 4 weeks in passive income selling on ebay and amazon that canceled my 50K private student loan
Good info and tips fellas!
Great show Jeff. I appreciate you and all your guests for sharing their knowledge and experiences.
Great episode when it comes to the risks Regular Package Car Drivers/RPCD face when there is a heatwave.
I’m a driver out of Lonestar. This was heartbreaking. Truly heartbreaking.
They just had a funeral last week for a guy from Arlington Tx hub who drove for Red Oak's center .. this heat is no joke... The guy actually made it home and sat on the couch and collapsed and died from heat exhaustion...
My condolences.
In my hub, the Local Sort supervisor was told he is not allowed to sign grievances anymore and that it must be a full time supervisor
Facts only, don't feel a thing. #1 Steward.
Need to remove stewards that are only there for themselves signing off on their grievances and not helping others. Remove Stewart that is there for management. And they admitted that they refused to be your Stewart.
Question: How can the federal government remove CEO Mr. John Stumpf from Wells Fargo office but they can't remove management from office?
Solidarity from Teamsters 396 ! The local that Esteban Chávez Jr was a member of !. My route has the mortuary they laid him to rest , I attended the funeral it still haunts me till this day. Such a young brother that UPS stole his life ! We should not accept this shit ! ..not one more Teamster!.
