In the different versions, we've tried to have at least two entrances so they never feel cornered, and keep as much of it "see through" with clear vinyls or the shower curtains since we figured it helps them feel safer to be aware of their surroundings. It stayed there untouched for a while. It took him months to start to use it, but we're glad he realized he could be safe there 💕

🥺 awww im sorry for your loss ♥️ This guy was part of a crew of feral and stray cats we used to feed. One day he stopped coming, so we're hopeful he won over someone that could take him in 💕

Their mom is the true hero ❤️ The way she protected her babies is truly amazing... for over the year that we knew her, she was always so scared, let other cats beat her up, never put up a fight, and hurt herself from the stress of it all (we thought it was from cat fights, but once inside realized it was stress). After she became pregnant, she transformed into a different cat, defending herself so no one would hurt her while remaining extra cautious of any possible danger. She is truly their hero, and I think even in her womb they felt all of that love and protection because the two babies we kept with her are a neverending source of love for her. We're so thankful she trusted us to rescue her and keep her safe ♥️

Yes! Two siblings went to the same home together (already neutered). We kept her and the two babies that appeared to be bonded to each other and her. They were constantly in trio piles of kisses and love ☺️ We get updates on the other two and ours are extra spoiled, so happy homes for everyone lol. It's been a complete pleasure to watch her raise her babies and enjoy motherhood. The wisdom and care she gave them as they were growing up and how patient she is now when they're twice her size and 1.5 years old is beautiful to witness ♥️

She had the entire room available, but felt safer in the smaller spaces. We did not feel comfortable forcing her into a stressful situation when we could support her natural desires instead :)

As the kittens were growing up, we went with how their mom behaved. She was calm, so we were calm. Some people choose to intercept more, but we wanted to let the mom decide how to raise them and only be there as support, when needed. This was not a time when we were needed.

To us, it's a cute silly memory of Junior trying to get one of his siblings to give up his spot instead finding a new one. He was always the loudest and vocal, so it made us giggle and smile specially compared with how relaxed his mom was just having them feed from her 💕

Aww it was an honor helping her 💖 She was really good about telling us in her own way what she needed, so we just kept alert of any behavior changes and gave her all the options until she felt comfortable 💕 With time, the set up kept changing as her needs changed. She's a very wise girl 🐈
