Greetings from lake of bays I'm happy with my average sized cottage however we have strict bylaw rules of boat house construction it cant have full kitchen or bathroom because of the grey water restrictions if this company breaks this rule it can lead to a hefty fine and building permits affected

How secure is the location from break-in because lake of bays or any lake in the Muskoka region have the same problem as living in any city and its very pronounced to see from the lake

Thank you for the opportunity to comment. Very, very nice overall and great colours but the primary section is unfortunately reminiscent of the current shipping container trend due to the lack of roof overhang. Also the primary might benefit from some extremely narrow, floor to ceiling slit style windows to break up that large solid wall facing the center courtyard area and to allow natural light in while maintaining maximum privacy. Soft white pine plantings would be a stunning complement to this design that has an abundance of nice linear edges. Facing south will be a treasure in perpetuity. Looking forward to boating past this beauty.

We love using alumum pannels because it's cheap. This is not a car part store in a industrial neighborhood. It's irrelevant! What's with a gabled roof over the entrance? Serves no purpose, doesn't add to the design. Flashy at best but really gives a cheap look to the building. No architect with self respect would ever do something like this.

Large roof over hangs are beautiful and protect the doors, windows and siding from rain and moisture damage. Water is the enemy of buildings. Architects and home builders need to bring back large roof over hangs

From a visual point of view I like flat roofs but in forest environments I see something that will fail in the future as that organic matter blocks up limited options to rain water sheading. From your 3D render the old barn doesn't look like an old building anymore, why keep the structure? Why not repurpose some of the better beams and feature lumber and be unlocked from the old buildings position and design? Loved the boat house cladding, what the name/link of the product?

Elegant looking design and forms. A respectful comment: buck the trend of dark grey cladding and trim and instead use an evergreen. It would meld better with the site, not be dated in 10 years, and amplify the wood trim/features.
