Oh Mary, I have been a type 1 diabetic for the past 54 years. Your husband's A1C did not go down. It was his glucose. An A1C is the average reading of the past three months. This reading tells the doctor if your sugar levels are holding an equal ratio or if they are jumping up and down...something like what happened when your husband became hypoglycemic on the day you went to church. The best way to deal with these things is to make sure you always have something available for him to eat to help keep is readings level. (between 80 - 120). I keep granola bars in the car and have orange juice handy wherever I go. At church, family member's house etc...Here in Canada the readings need to be on average of 4.0 - 8.0 because we go with the metric system. But I remember well what it was like many years ago when we havd the same readings that the US continue to use. You did a wonderful job putting away all your decorations. We did not go crazy here for Christmas so there really wasn't much to do. Everything being put away is always like being in a refreshed new environment for me. I love the decorations for Christmas but I also like to get back to the everyday decor. Take care my friend and watch your husband carefully...get on him if he won't eat his meals as he is suppose to...I have lost consciousness many times because of being like that, and it is very dangerous.

Hey family! The holidays are over and it’s time to put away the decorations. I love putting it up but hate taking it down. So I think I’m gonna start in the kitchen . It has less to take down. What you y’all think? So i’m gonna get started.
