Welcome to my channel, guys. I'm from Saint Paul, MN; hence, the area code 651. Hopefully I can bring you guys some of my fun and creative content of being an angler. Just started fishing, so bare with me as I'm learning.
1st Bass Fishing 2024
Finally found some time to get the Kayak out and do some Bass fishing with this beautiful weather! It was tough day, but I got some hits on the last hour before leaving.

One last Fall trip for that biggin before I end the season for me. And I finally got my biggin! But today is more of a Pike day.

Decided to hit up this new body of water and man, I had a blast out there! It was fire that morning. Only if I was able to land that bigger one that got away.

They were definitely biting aggressively that day. Just that I couldn't hook them for sh*t and lost one of my new frog.

Didn't catch anything. First time out here, and I chose the wrong day to be here. LOL. Very windy, but the weather forecast says average wind is only 8mph, but different story when I got there on the water. LOL. There's definitely fish, but I didn't go to the middle like I should due to the wind.

First time taking out the new Kayak. Pelican Sentinel 100X Angler kayak. So far so good.

Yessirrrr 🔥 tis that plopper and froggin season
Yeap! But for some reason that day, no Bass wants to smack that bait. I've tried Chatterbait, Jig, and that plopper. Only three came for the plopper. After talking to a few friends, they've had a similar experience too. So we're all thinking it's the bi-polar weather that makes them being this way. Cause this little lake was lit when I went there two times last Fall. Bites every 2-4 cast.

@651Angler well I've been up here for a couple years now but yes. I used to live on Rice so I'd take my foldable out on Wabasso often.

Got that itch now don’t you??? I’ve fished my entire life but this past summer, I really went all in with bass fishing from the kayak and when that first 8lb hog had my heavy rod, bent under the boat, I wish shaking trying to get the hook out and photo so nobody could hate and say I was lying 🤣🤣🤣
Yes sir. Lol. Hooked! I started this Bass fishing back in June and been skunked since then til a few weeks ago and now I got my first biggin. Felt good and my persistent paid off. Lol. Now I can end the season due to other things I got to take care of, so I can't wait what Spring season got in store for me.

Thankyou. Yeah, there's still a few things I needed to add on like the Garmin Echomap 43CV. Just added two more handles on the stern and bow for easier grab. I'll do a video my setup soon. You keep it safe as well, brother.
