Yes! As Eoin said, those first 10 minutes are greater than most Oscar winning movies. This film should have won every award when it was released. It's so over the top and just so much fun. When Sho showed up in the film, this became one of the best films ever.

I was wondering if you guys were gonna mention Billy's "Chewie hair" and it's one of the first things Eoin mentioned, lmao!! V8 is the sexiest of ALL beverages. 😂😂😂

Top 10 saddest movie deaths 😔

While I've enjoyed a good chunk of Dwayne Johnson's flicks, as the next face of Action, his career path has left something to be desired. The same goes for John Cena.

It's a damn shame about Steve James, gone too soon. He had real potential to be the main guy leading his own Action movies.

I wish Cannon would've at least changed the main character's last name, but that doesn't take away from how good it is.

"Ghosts of Mars" and "The One" were the first films that I saw Statham in. I thought he had a good presence, so I'm glad he became as big as he has.

I like "War," but wasn't a fan of the twist with Statham's character. Similar to his movie "Chaos" with Ryan Phillippe.

Most definitely the Action movie to beat this year, I wish I could've seen it in the theater. I felt the ending was a bit abrupt, but it was a fun kickass time, nonetheless.

It's a damn shame we never got Carl Weather in "The Expendables" movies. I definitely could've seen him on Arnie's team.

R.I.P. Carl Weathers. He maybe Apollo Creed for a lot of people, but for me he'll always be Action Jackson. Hurricane Smith wasn't too bad either.

I wouldn't even have a top 10 this year. But my top 5 below are. 1. John Wick 4 2. Extraction 2 3. Silent Night 4. Equalizer 3 5. Sisu Also really enjoyed Plane, Kandahar. No Solo Scott Adkins projects this year. But next year Killers Game, One More Shot and Take Cover from Adkins. Road House remake which looks interesting and lots more to look forward too.

My favorite Bruce Willis movies after "Die Hard" are "Mercury Rising" and "Hostage."

Have you seen the movie from 2000 called A Better Way To Die Starring Scott Wiper, Andre Braugher and Lou Diamond Phillips? I highly recommend it.

Lionsgate tends to get a bad rap, being labeled "Bombgate" and such, but they're one of the few studios willing to put out 80s/90s style R-rated Action flicks like "Safe". Plus, their budgets tend not to be too high.

Look forward to the Safe stream. Definitely one of Stathams best/underrated movies. Considering the action choreography was done by the 87-Eleven the guys who did John Wick the action scenes are very good. Stathams got to be my favorite modern action star of this generation, Beekeeper is looking good, will def head to cinemas for it.

Bronson’s had so many great movies. Personally one I really Enjoy is The Evil That Men Do and 10 to Midnight among his Cannon days and his 80s output. I actually liked the Mechanic remake more as well same with Resurrection over the original.

You guys were right. I had a dead stare when I walked out of the theatre after watching Expendables 4. Dear me.

Whenever I watch "Cliffhanger" and Rex Linn shows up I can't help but think of Dr. Phil.

I wonder if Michael Rooker will return for "Cliffhanger 2."

Well, it looks like hopes have been answered for "Equalizer 3" and "Expendables 4" as the runtimes are supposed to be 1hr 49min and 1hr 43min, respectively.

Sisu was brutally awesome. Played out like a novel with all those chapters.

With other recent movies that have been released, a case could be made that the super-super bloated budgets were the result of Covid, "M:I 7" for example with all those starts and stops and whatnot. However, Disney is just being Disney, which is dumb. They've been producing bloated $200 million plus budgeted movies for years now. All these studios need to go back to producing movies for $100 million or less.

This movie is definitely one of the top 5 Dolph Lundgren flicks.👍👍

Great discussion guys! I love this movie. Dolph is such a great action star (director as well) and his and Brian Benben's chemistry is one of the best in the buddy cop genre. I have been to a few college basketball games that Jay Bilas has been doing the television commentary for. He speaks very highly of his turn as an "action star" as the other alien in the film. I hope to one day catch him at another game and have him sign my blu ray. 😆
