This is a great video ; maybe make another video like this one, with all the new films out, I'm beginning to see this in the various animated shows and movies I've seen. I tried other videos that described Erikson's 8 Stages of Development Theory, a couple weren't so interesting to me, but this version I like, because it has the animated movies I like in it.

Excellent thorough video with great examples from much beloved stories! Really interesting that the ages of the characters in the examples largely (not always) line up with the expected timeline of the stage!

There are Seven Chapters of an Earthly Life I. Chapter 1 = Childhood II. Chapter 2 = Adolescence III. Chapter 3 = Adult World IV. Chapter 4 = Middle Age V. Chapter 5 = Pre-Elderhood VI. Chapter 6 = Retirement VII. Chapter 7 = Dead End/Expiration Now Apply Erik Erikson's 8 Stages of Development to the 7 Chapters of an Earthly Life The First Half = The First Chapter The Third Quarter = Second & Third Chapters The Seventh Stage = Fourth & Fifth Chapters The Eighth Stage = Sixth & Seventh Chapters Erik Erikson First Chapter (1902-1915) Second Chapter (1915-1928) Third Chapter (1928-1941) Fourth Chapter (1941-1954) Fifth Chapter (1954-1967) Sixth Chapter (1967-1980) Seventh & Final Chapter (1980-1993) Preparation for The Eighth (1994) Note: Chapter 8 Does not Exist in this World, since it is a Great Chapter to Be at, Because it Exists not on This Earth but in Heaven

I'm a big Pixar/Disney fan (as well as being a Minions fan), and I love this video. I'm in grad school right now and had to look at another video for class (and this one was in the side column). I wish my professor chose this instead. Makes it way more educational and tangible by connecting the theory to something most of us love.
