And I agree 100%, the whole Unheard edition situation should be a prime example of what to avoid in the future, both for the game developers and the consumers! I'm keeping an eye on GZW as well as some other extraction shooters. I'm pleased to see the genre grow.

I had a look at their steam page and the various editions they are selling. It's not a good sign if you ask me.

Unfortunately many people bought it and that's why unheard edition exists today!

By the way great video it's cool to see you go back and validate claims he made 6 years ago and even cooler of you to call out the hypocrisy of the fanbase for attacking his extremely valid view on the game.

Very glad you also enjoy Stalker Gamma! I played the original back in 2007 but I was too involved with Fallout 3 back then. It wasn't until OperatorDrewski released his video about Gamma and I was blown away with what modders had achieved, so I dived in a few months ago, been playing/streaming it daily!

I agree, the Unheard edition pricing is ridiculous. The people supporting that edition (thankfully not many), are giving the green light to every other developer to charge more in the future.

Exactly! Even if someone uses their wallet to get a tiny advantage, so they can have an edge against another player in pvp, it's p2w. I don't understand why that concept is so hard for some people to understand!

Thank you for your comment! I agree, everyone has a right to an opinion and i respect yours. I'd say it would be p4c if it was a single player game or if they only sold some extra stash space. In pvp it's called p2w. If you disagree with my statement, please define p2w.

Been following him for years, he is kinda over the top sometimes but he is objective.

Let's hope some other developer creates a worthy competitor to EFT.

P2W is when someone gets advantages that can use against other players in pvp. That's exactly what you get with every edition higher than standard.

You still have only few guns and armors at the beginning, you easy run few scavs and have better stuff

​​​​@@FotisNorscanyou don't actually play eft do you? I have 3k hours. The gear means absolutely nothing honestly. Even more so after the recoil rework The only thing close to p2w is gamma. Trader levels mean very little other than jaegers. Its not even levels but a bit extra rep that goes towards trader level

It's not your pc or gpu that is the problem. The stalker games were released in 2007-2009, their engine is old with the limitations of that era. Anomaly and Gamma added a ton of mods on top of that so technical probelms are to be expected. You will still have freezes near the northern and southern exits of Jupiter and in the southern exit of Zaton but those are just annoying not game breaking ones! The eternal freezes are gone for me at least, i hope for you too!

I admit sometimes crafting is a pain to deal with, but Gamma ''economy'' depends heavily on it. There are other modpacks out there ofc for different gameplay styles!

Indeed, enabling unlimited weight in stashes is not a good idea. In Gamma you can craft or buy stashes of up to 400kg and those are completely fine. Workbench always lags. The game engine doesn't like it when you put all your stuff in one container.

Not the first time either! I had a squad of three mercs deleting me once in Condon!
