But have to add, I was there in the VIP section (lucky me), but what is with the people up in the rafters beside the stage 😮this song started and no excitement whatever😳 we were jumping up and down and so excited for this song. Sorry, but all of those people up there, to me, looked way too young to appreciate his music and showed it. Excited that young people are enjoying his music but looks like they have no idea what they are experiencing lol. Who are and how did they afford these seats 🤷‍♀️ one of my favourite songs ❤

I think some people cant get past the ear worm of the perfect pitch corrected studio version in a key he cant perform live with any consistency hence always being dropped live. I actually like this in this slightly higher live key, way more expression and the band arrangement is so good. Vocals not perfect, but they cant be. Agree with the first poster who said this is the best live version yet

Guy from Monmouth County here. It’s days later, only Wednesday really, and I’m moved to tears watching “Racing in the Streets” again. Finally got to hear it live after years of periodically putting on the album version and having to repeat it at least once.

This is the first live version I've heard in the key of B (via transposition on the digital keys). I think it's MUCH better for his vocal than B-flat was. I love how the band's arrangement continues to evolve.
