Engraving a ceramic cup on 50 watt fiber laser.
มุมมอง 10K4 ปีที่แล้ว
Machine being used is a bescutter 50 watt. This is a normal ceramic cup Walmart # 553107471 I don't know how they will hold up without adding a glazing, I'm using them and running in a dishwasher, if they fall apart I'll update the description. You can reduce the power and just discolor the glazing if you want to play it safe. I've been using the marked cups for over a week without any issues.

What we did before laser cutting..
มุมมอง 5324 ปีที่แล้ว
Yeah, this was considered an upgrade at the time we bought it. Thing was 1/5th the cost of a laser cutter and one 1/20th the speed and 1/10,000 the versatility. Took a year to unload this dinosaur at a heavy loss.. Don't be a chump buy a laser... Are you still reading this??

hai, i am facing a problem in cypnest, when i try to nest diffrent parts above 50 it shows 'quantity has reached upper limit error'.how to change it?
The measure too not snapping is really frustrating. It should be like Autocad,
okay at work we have 6kw raytools and we usually use 2-5mm at work and we add lead line even with micro joint anything beetwen 1-1.3 should be fine
dipends of course how big is the part , and how much it does weight
I add micro joints even on a 10mm thickness
Im still struggle with the cypcut. Issue with direction of cutting etc. Are you able to help mate?
Can you tell me how you rotate a part before cutting ? Need to rotate a part 90 degrees to fix into the sheet. And im stuck on how to do it
How to set engraving 1500 w pls.
When measuring. Try clicking the corners. You can see the vertex sign pop up it means your cursor is in the corner edge of the rectangle or triangle
So if im not mistaken this will stop the laser from running off the metal
Hey i am an apprentice and inuse a machine like this for work if there is any infor.stjon you can givr me sonthat i can get cleaner cuts would he much appreciated i will sub to youre channel

great video !! what type of filter are those bags ?
I am having a problem with the cut soure. If I take the single part and adjust my cut path, It works the way I want. Then I nest the part and the cut order is changed. Could you tell me what I am doing wrong. Thanks
Hi, Can you please make a video using the edge seek. Thanks
Thanks! I'm looking into a similar setup, but I cut 11ga. Thinking about getting a high pressure compressor to prefill 300 cylinders to 2400psi. I only run small jobs, so i have plenty of time to refill. I don't see anybody else doing this though.

Thanks! But, how to set layer parameters from fsm files. I get this error (can not read the material library of other manufacturers)
Very Helpfull
What if have an old bystronic and you want to flycut ,does the program has any campability with other file format
Hi ! I wached your video for learn about to how i do for use the program . Thank you ! But i .have a problem: after to make the setting , (count of pieces, plates, geometry expanded), when i do the nets, cypcut showme the next : "Size plate is too small, no parts add to nest" ..Im sure that the size plate is not small, because in the setting plate i have size of a 1,5 meters x 3 meters.. Do you know wich is the problem?

Hi guys, do you have a maintenance manual that you use?
I need help. I use Cypcut for work and we have to nest hundreds of metal artwork pieces. And sometimes for absolutely no reason at all during the nesting process an error will pop up saying "Size of plate too small, no part add to nest" and have to start all over. We have no idea why this happens and the plate size has nothing to do with it. The only way it will successfully nest is a process of elimination figuring out which art piece is making the error. It takes hours. If I get the error to many times, Cypcut will tell me I have no memory left and I have to restart the program. Absolutely infuriating.
yep us too.
Plz parameters
Cuantos bar son 22 ga?
hi, in my case when i am going to nest it shows size of plate is too small. can you please help me to fix this error
hi how are you? Could you fixed this problem? I have the same
Very good. Greeting from indonesia
Is this Cypcut or Cypnest you are showing off here? (I got Cypcut but not a lot of those options).
I was wondering about using a laser engraver to make a micro welder for tiny parts, and this seems like a promising proof of concept that could be scaled down. Thanks for showing us this experiment.

Hi bro did you find out how to do it
Hi, friend, this video of yours helped me a lot, I'm looking forward to testing it, I'm Brazilian, I work on an HSG3015 machine, we didn't use this function because we didn't know it... if everything goes well, I'll come back to thank you again S2
Saludos desde la ciudad de Guatemala , quiero me expliquen por que cuando utilizo nest no me da la opcion de utilizar mas de 20 laminas de 2,438.4 mm largo ×1,219.2mm ancho
Hello! I couldn't find a test in your videos that shows how thick plates can be cut with the 500W fiber laser. Carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, bronze, copper. I would be interested in cutting these materials in 1mm thickness steps. 1mm, 2mm, 3mm... etc. Ty.
Our original 500w source lost one of the three modules nearly 3 years ago and we are currently running a 1500w laser. But a 500w can do 1.5mm in steel and stainless, we did 2mm with some regularity but it was not perfect. Aluminum bronze and copper is not generally recommended on low powered machines because it damages the sources due to thermal reflection.
Ok, I understand. Thanks to reply.
Looks like it's been a couple years since you have put out a video. I just ordered a 1500W laser and am trying to learn as much as possible before it gets here. I really like your video and hope you post more. One this I'm looking to learn is how to set up for marking bend lines and engraving. It would be great if you can help.
Yeah the software changed a lot since I bought my machine so my simple videos are out of date to the current interface. My machine is still making parts but it's five years old and the new machines are very different so not much of my information is current.. I do have some data on filtration and other operations data that might be useful. I've been running a very large contract job for the past two years that has taken most of my free time, but it's looking like that will be slowing down soon.
@Small shop lasers thanks for responding. Yes, any information you can share would be greatly appreciated. I'm curious about the software. Is it that the new version of the software won't work with your laser, or is it expensive to upgrade to the newest version?
@@mikebourret3624 So as far as I know I can just download the new version and it should work since the control card is the license dongle. But I'm concerned that I will lose the adjustments that have been made in the backend of the software than make it work correctly.. I will likely just download the newest version to a desktop computer for making videos since 99% of the software is identical in function they just changed the UI and most of the menus have better English in them.
We have a 30HP screw compressor hooked to our 12,000 watt OREE fiber laser and we cut all the way up to 1/2" carbon steel with compressed air with a great, polished finished edge. You do need 240 PSI to do this but it's possible for sure. The compressor has a five stage filter with a built in dryer and this is important as well so as not to contaminate the lens of the laser.
Yeah as the thickness increases the pressure requirement increases.. We are doing thin sheet metal and have a limited electric service, so the setup we have is enough for practical use up to 2mm (14 gauge). We are currently running a 1500w source and have cut as thick as 1/4 inch (6mm) with compressed air, not that I would recommend anything over 2mm with this setup as the burr gets pretty thick.. And yes the filtering requirements are high, we have five parts to our filter setup so likely it is similar..
Kesim parametrelerini kesinleştirdikten sonra, telafi ölçüsü ekleyip deneme yaptınız mı?
what setting's are you running on this? I'm new to Laser engraving...
Hello I have tried to do this with imported autocad files and it does not recognize the lines or the circles Do you know how I can do it? thanks
A few things could be at play. Try moving the drawing to primary document, see if it will modify in that screen. I don't think flycutting/scancutting can be done in the parts menu. But once you modify the drawing in primary document you can send it to the parts menu..
Cypcut' ın desteklediği formatları kullanmalısın. Örneğin dxf.
