With good glass + photographic skills this body STILL kills anything you throw at it. l owned a lot of DSLRs over the years, and this was the first that could do "anything for anyone anywhere at anytime" without limitations (stills only). My only reservation would be if I still was shooting at PRO level and having to carry this + a 70-200 for 8 hours a day... its too much to handle. But, for occasional shoots, I love the weight and feel, and the image output at most ISO levels is AMAZING for the age (even today) and most people could not spot a difference in image quality if you show them the end result. Another point is that in most countries this can now be purchased second hand for a fraction of most modern gear.

Would a 50mb/s write cf card be good enough or need faster cf card only owned for 3 days so far haven't got cf yet

I hope you see my message and you can reply please. Nice video. But I hoped it would explain something that has been bugging me. Oh btw I am planning on buying a atem ISO. So let's say we have 2 of these cameras and both of them like in your video has 2 mics. And lets say that we have audio follows video so whenever the director chooses CAM 1 the audio from CAM 1 goes in our recording/stream etc etc. Now the question is, what if we want to be able to choose CAM 1 > Audio 1 or CAM 1 > Audio 2. So 1 camera 2 journalists 2 mics and we want to mute line 1 or line 2 at times but both must be dual mono I suppose. Is this something we can do? Sorry if I used a lot of things I should not in my text. I am not a native speaker. Thank you!

crazy that timecode isn;t available in any vmix recording method.

Really really great hack! Tried it with the 200x and the foam insert works width wise but falls short length wise. Howeveeer, a little bit of padding (bubble wrap/newspaper) fixes that

Great video, clear no precise. A fourth option to bring PowerPoint into vMix PC / laptop is via hdmi output of that local laptop running vMix ( that’s if the presenters are local ). Most laptops have hdmi outputs…You could incorporate a decimater in the chain if needed.

Thanks for this. I've been trying to figure out the difference between this and Descript. I agree that Typestudio doesn't do a great job of showing how it's different. I build a lot of websites and this is so typical. Anyway, it's clear Descript has a full range of video editing features, including timeline editing and overlaying video and images, which I'm hoping to use once I get the hang of it.

HOw much does vMix charge for call minutes? Like if I do 120 minutes of interviews per month?

Andy, which rig are you using to record to this? The sound is perfect. By the way, I would use Vmix, my smartphone with Zerotier One VPN and Larix broadcaster apps installed. You need a UVC and a Hdmi cable from camera to phone. I tried it in Burundi and it worked well.

Hello my friend, how are you? I have a simple question for you. I watched you convert all formats to srt format. I need a way to convert a txt file to srt format. I used Descript, but it stopped. I need a subscription and I do not have the money to subscribe and I need an alternative method for that.

here in Kettering Uk the upload is always lower than download, we are on the three mobile network with a huawei B525 router and external omni-directional aerial, we get 67 down and 9 up without the mesh system, it arrived this am 20th sept 2022 so Im watching your review to see how to set it up. The wifi is not doing well at the other end of the house, plug in Wi-Fi extenders increase latency dramatically. change that ssid name the neighbours will think you are promoting ladies sanitary products.😂😂😂
