That camera view works pretty well and I like it. I don't know a whole lot about DC but I do appreciate your pointing out first appearances and such with these. Issue 0. Anytime I think of that, or issue 1/2, it takes me back to Wizard magazine, the comic pricing guide, that used to pack them in once in a while.😊 The dogs want in on the video!! I dig a good B&W variant cover. Aaaaand Lobo is added to the search list thanks to the pin-up girl on the cover. You DO know us too well.😂 Lobo doesn't STEAL covers, he pays homage to them. Ha ha Also, on looks alone, I think Momoa could do Lobo justice, presuming he wouldn't disappoint with the character acting.

You should totally start your own bag & boarding company...so long as we get a discount. lol Man, I could never keep track of what is and isn't connected to Witchblade and/or Darkness. The variety here is all across the table and I wouldn't have it any other way. ha ha ha

Venom usually makes for a great cover. I remember that anniversary issue by that cover! If your boxes are exploding, does that mean you have TOO MANY comics? Bwa ha ha! I remember a lot of the comics coming out around 9/11 and the respect Marvel paid, which makes sense with so much of their business based and their stories taking place in NY. That was really cool of them. Also, Spidey so frequently has such great coves, doesn't he? And once you start on those variant covers, like the Venomized stuff and lenticulars, like modern/classic Spidey. The classic covers too--like the one with the good use of negative space; they just never skimped on fantastic cover art. Issue 1000...good grief--sooo, I should probably start getting caught up, huh? That 30th anniversary issue with the holo-center and red backdrop is gorgeous. Captain America must be spinning in his cryogenic tube to know Spidey is taking over his box. lol

Just sayin', but I think if YOU got an Ecto-1 vehicle that it'd alot for a LOT more space for comic pickups. Aw, the missus is trying to enable you!! How collectibly sweet! Dude, the horror vibe here is soooo strong and we DO love it! I'm glad someone like you goes after variant covers, because that's a huge rabbit hole to go down and we just could not find the space. lol I really dig hearing that the better half is trying so hard to get you some more comics--that's love right there. I remember having that Breaking of Batman issue; it was one of the few I had of his, and then 500 with the new suit/Batman.

6 issues MMPR find, all in one--very nice! And then a 12 issue set, excellent! Shaq and the Justice League, because...why not. ha ha ha Seems like quite the Nightwing haul, may man!

SMASHING! Oh man Hammer; excellent job MCU of making me want to SMASH a characters face! lol Civil War was such an epic story and it's a shame MCU couldn't give it the full justice it deserves. Oooh, that Heroes for Hire #3 cover is well done; I like a lot of these actually. The Initiative cover, wow, that's so good. The cover that DID make it to the film though, it showed they WANTED to pay the story some tribute. Ooooh, the House of M story--aw yeah!! That Mephisto cover is great! I AM surprised he's not popped up in any MCU stuff yet. lol The memorial covers are great pieces of comic history to have. I have that Stryfe's Strike File issue; I adored that X-Cutioners Song crossover event and remember I worked my butt off back in the day to collect each issue--which wasn't easy as we didn't always have a local comic shop.

That opening skit is amazing; the two of you, man, I would've enjoyed seeing MORE like this. BS time is over....riiiight, it's NEVER over between you two, I know all too well. First picks--could we get a Kirby/Batman crossover? THAT would be worth seeing. Blanka dropped into a Final Fantasy world...I'm telling you, these crossovers are writing themselves! I do dig the Zelda manga! I have a very special, unofficial Zelda comic, not manga, that I can't share on TH-cam. Pokemon? Aaaaand I'm out. lol j/k

Aquaman isn't even the worst character DC ever had. I think the original Bizzaro was much worse. I get the whole dumb part and his powers being the oposite of superman. Instead of heatvision and a freeze breath they gave him freezevision and heatbreath. So far so good. But than they had him talk in reverse... Instead of saying something like "I will protect you" He said something like "I will destroy you" but meaning the opposite. I got tired of that joke reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal quick. So glad they changed him for DC rebirth. That Red Hood and the Outlaws was one of the best runs I have ever seen in comics.

Hey, NOT finding anything and ending up at a coffee shop with a friend? THAT sounds like a win to me! Aw, Gordon got his own book--nice. Good idea to start collecting some Fantastic Four as once the movie drops, those prices may jump up. Very cool Batman & Robin animated series comic; loved when they'd do those. I think I remember seeing a Robin III in a bag like that, that's cool. I mean, we open everything...buuuut, it may be worth at least keeping the bag on hand too. Fold it gently in put in the back of a bag/board comic?

We also really like the resealable bags, but only have a few and haven't upgraded the collection...Ooof, it'd be such a nightmare but I know it'd be worth it in the end. What we need is a full day spent inside, some movies streaming in the background, and just mindlessly replacing the old bags with the new. Look at this variety of comics too. That Carnage cover is pretty neat. Naturally we dig seeing X-Men and the like books. Showing some X-Force and X-Factor books from my days of full-on comic collecting. Heh, any of those Deadpool written by Cullen Bunn? He did a lot of books for the Merc with the Mouth. I was just listening to a fun recap of Superman and Lobo with a Brainiac storyline at work recently.

And boom, proof that he signed it so, sell it for all the money!! ha ha It's an honor to be your friend my man and we always enjoy trying to add something fun to your ever-growing comic collection!! Wooo--look at that GR #10!! Nice! Hoping you DO complete the entire run of volume 2, especially if you're so close. Vs Punisher, now that sounds badass. Oooh, crossover with classic X-Factor, pretty sweet! We don't get bent out of shape with condition either, especially when it's clear it was from being read because comics deserve to be loved. I remember seeing that glow-in-the-dark cover! "Shamelessly plugging myself"--hey, that's TH-cam life. ha ha I need to make sure I pick up issues 26 and 27 as they crossed over to the mainline X-Men books. I think I remember seeing that cover with Wolverine as well, but did I have it? Hmmm.... The cover with the giant sword--did Ghost Rider go into Final Fantasy VII? Ha ha ha j/k Man, those later volume covers, they really played up that cover art candy didn't they? They look amazing. Wooo baby, complete collection in there--very nice! Ha ha Oh fun, some Star-Lord stuff; ha ha, right? The comics that have covers to LOOK damaged but aren't... Isn't that Kitty Pryde with Star-Lord on the cover? I feel like they had a short-lived fling. I'd watch the Guardians take on a pack of Star Wars rancors--ha ha ha What lies in the cocoon? You can't fool me, I saw that film--nekkid old folks is what. ha ha ha

You know, when you're THIS Thor, there's usually a cream that helps. ha ha ha I remember Thor being in so many Marvel comics and ads and being such a big deal, and I won't lie, I never had any interest. BUT, the movie actually made him out to be a really neat character and so I was much more open to checking out more of his lore. But then wow--WOW, man, there's so much lore to try and follow up on!! I know that character (I think) that's Beta Ray Bill, right? Is that the Silver Samurai riding a traffic light motorbike? Ha ha Thor vs. Hulk cover--stuff like that is always awesome; those are the match-ups you always wanted to see as a kid (and now, who am I kidding ha ha!). Eric Masterson, wasn't he later Thunderstrike, the pony-tail guy? Thor & Spidey team-up, nice. Ooooh, and Daredevil too. You've scored some pretty good titles in pretty decent shape from the car boots. Aw yeah, 3D comics WITH the proper glasses, very nice and always fun.

You could call the series: "I Have Issues" since you're going through such large lots of series. It could be like "Hey guys, it's Comic Rob...and I have issues...of FLASH!" I'm a sucker for a good cover, so I'm seeing some fun ones here; though that burning Flash cover is intense! Whew, you've got some Flash gaps to fill in; it'd be so cool to have you visit some of our comic hunting spots to see what you could find. Zombiefied Flash is the things of nightmares. I think it's fun when they do comics to tie into movies and shows and expand the lore. Sounds like you have comics spilling out everywhere. ha ha ha

Steel was always an interesting concept; I liked that he wasn't just "another" Superman, you know? That said, I never did see the movie to know if it did the character justice or not...

YES! Excited for you to go through these. I remember this guy and he always kind of creeped me out; maybe for that lack of morality, but there was always that little bit that was off about him.

I've seen a few number of books with Deathlok, including some crossovers, and I've always wondered exactly who this guy is. Very much appreciate the breakdown! Actually sounds fairly interesting and I appreciate the cleverness in use of tech for powers.

This was cool because I'd heard the name Weapon H in passing but had no clue what the story was about. Go figure Roxxon is involved. Also, I honestly thought there was so much more of a tie-in to Alpha Flight...or is that just Department H? Am I cross-wiring my Canadian Marvel thoughts?

Nab the DeLorean and head back in time to get some cheap comics!! Really cool to see the setup there; lots of fun stuff; it's fun to look and figure out what Laci would absolutely go for. Ha! Okay, the Batman bookends is fairly clever. Nice DCeased issues! Whoa--the Poison Ivy cover is super creepy. Nice on the Reign of Superman books--that was a fun read back in the day and this is a great addition to the collection. I remember having those so that takes me back. Oh geez--that zombie Flash is terrifying! Wow on the Thor, dude, that's awesome! The missus was spoiling you this year!! Happy birthday!!

GOT to check the dollar/pound/cheapo bins because you never know! Secret Empire are nice finds. Good looking Flash books--surprising the shop owner ha ha ha! Spidey AND Civil War story no less; excellent! The Batman 89 books are too cool; I gotta pick those up myself. Now that's the classic comic Superman I remember; I had a couple of books in the 90s. I feel you on collecting on a budget; saw a great Nightmare on Elm Street issue over the weekend but I wasn't ready to make the $50 jump yet for a single issue...

Man, I remember the HUGE buildup to Onslaught. Dude, HOW do you keep up with which stories and books you want to collect and finish runs of? That First Born cover is giving me some Castlevania vibes! And yes sir, Laci has been getting into Witchblade a bit these past few years. We'll keep an eye out for any good Darkness goodies for you.

Oh, come now Sega Head, it's not about actually finding anything; it's about the thrill of the hunt! lol I keep forgetting about the Batman TellTale game; Laci loved their games, so I need to track this down and get her to play it. Superman vinyl, that's pretty cool! It's like a classic radio show--that's so nifty! Hey, it's good to see that not every trip is successful because it reminds people to keep at it!

Hardly gets more comic classic than Superman vs. the Flash! DC 1 million? Ah geez, I AM behind! lol Love, love, love the Age of Apocalypse storyline so that shiny cover is pretty neat. Ragman? They made a comic about the guy who lives behind the grocery dumpster? I remember that X-Men issue; Maggot seemed so intriguing to me. Per that Aquaman comic, what is THE worst comic name you can think of to try and say? lol Foil embossed STILL wins us all over! SEALED--that IS an epic find!

Ooooh, some nice Aliens comics; watch those around Sega Head; ha ha Oh yeah, we watched some Locke & Key! That's cool that it's got a comic tied to it as well. Wooo, those Nightwing covers are nice. I never read the OG Alpha Flight, but late 90s/early 2000s they brought them back and I jumped into some of those. Punisher on that Hulk cover looks like They Boys' Billy Butcher. Can't go wrong with some Deadpool.

As for the pick, I don't know, I DO enjoy some Guardians of the Galaxy, but when you dropped that Werewolf by Night, I gotta go the horror route.

Longer video? There's gonna be SOOO many comics--YES! A wild Sega appears! Personally, I dig some added info on the comics, so toss it in! Alien; Star Wars; that's a great start. For the stickers, can you use a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive and gently peel them away? I've done that with some paper labels on cartridges. We had a local guy who ran a comic shop and LOVED Swamp Thing. Lots of cool looking Superman books. Fantastic Four coming in strong. I remember reading through a good number of New Mutants. Aw yeah, Uncanny X-Men run; now you're speaking my language! Oh yeah, Heroes of Hope; I remember that but had forgotten until you reminded me. That was a pretty big deal back in the day.

Ha ha, yes! Starting off with Deadpool, now THAT is awesome. I'm not allowed to read Hellboy, but I've got every issue of HECK Guy! The Batman Who Laughs is just frightening in ANY regard. Aaaand zombie Flashes...pure nightmare fuel. YEAH boy, you gotta have a Spawn comic in the mix!! The Darkness was pretty cool; loved the crossovers he'd do with like Witchblade. Also, there's a Darkness game that I'd really like to try out sometime. Great spooky episode Rob!!
