TMK (Too Many Knobs - Tim Escobedo)
Obscure octave, feedback/oscillation fuzz/distortion thing. probably my favorite pedal at the moment. the controls are: volume, gain/color, feedback (top, from left to right) and: octave/fundamental blend, crossover distortion, input impedance (bottom, from left to right). apologies for the poor audio and wacky playing

A blast from the past! i came up with this pedal in 2016 or 2017 as a school project (when i was a student at the Academy for Popculture in Leeuwarden, NL) just found that video in the depth of my hard-drive.. i borrowed the pedal to a friend and never got it back, so this video is all i have
PEP BOX (silicon fuzz pedal)

homemade Wem Rush Pep Box with silicon transistors. i added an external bias knob to it. cleans up really nicely when rolling back the volume on the guitar
Runoff Groove Tube Reamer DIY Pedal

ROG Tube Reamer based on the tagboardeffects layout with a few minor mods. Changed the resistor in the feedback path with the drive knob to 10k (top left, original is 51k) and i increased the input cap from 22nf to 47nf and the output cap from 100nf to 220nf. here is the link to the layout: tagboardeffects.blogspot.com/2013/01/runoffgroove-tube-reamer.html

first two enclosures i ever etched (2016 or so). Aleister is done with ferric chloride, Venus with gun-dye (birchwood casey - aluminum black)
Echopathetic - Analog BBD Delay Pedal

based on the Echopathetic circuit using a CoolAudio V3205 bucket brigade device (BBD chip). sounds alright with short delay time. slap-back echo with short repeats. almost like a reverb with longer repeats. as the delay time increases the clock noise becomes unbearable. at 12 o'clock it sounds like a super old tube tv. if you turn it up even higher it really gives you a headache

super trippy chorusish, delayish, reverb kinda thing based on a pt2399 delay chip. i really dig this pedal!! not sure why i used this awful looking, online converted cursive type font as artworks hahaha
Fuzz Factory Pedal (clone)

not really sure if this is what the pedal is supposed to sound like. built it years ago when i didn't know too much about germanium transistors, leakage and hfe. the enclosure is a result of several layers of (different colored) spray-paint and splashes of acetone

of all the weird self-oscillating Fuzz pedals i've built so far, this one is definitely my favorite. kinda regret that i painted it with this shitty dollar-shop spray-paint
Meat Eater Fuzz

the pedal is more or less an Acapulco Gold clone with some minor changes. a bit of a one-trick-pony, but that one trick is pretty cool: super brutal in your face fuzz. The thing is a little noisy tho (especially if you turn the volume on the guitar entirely down; as you hear at the end of the video). I guess thats the price you pay for that much gain

Silicon Treble Booster with additional gain control and a knob that controls the input capacity. The pedal is more or less a clone of a very expensive boutique pedal (i can't name for copy right reasons)

Left knob is for volume, the one in the middle is a tone control, right knob is gain.

nice pedal, try to make the same circuit with coolaudio v3205 but it doesn't work. Did you make any changes to the circuit? thank you!
I believe his original circuit didn’t have any means of biasing the input signal. I’d look into that, BBDs are notoriously finicky

I built Escobedo's PWM a while ago, but I've never seen this one ring. It seems even more versatile!

The Tube Reamer is a Tube Screamer without the input and output buffers right?
the clipping stage is almost exactly the same. but for the not so much.. there is no tone control and no buffers and the sounds is a lot grungier especially when you turn up the gain

Sounds like a lot of fun. If anyone’s looking for a pedal that does this kind of thing now there’s the Dirge Electronics Slowly Melting and Deep Space Devices DUST. I have both and they’re wonderful, the Melting has modulation while the DUST has a glitch switch. :D

Good morning, if you don't mind I would like to ask you a question. I put it together and it works perfect, but the LED'S don't light up. Would you show me how you made the connection or in any case why they might not work. Thank you.
Hey good morning, i just followed this layout: effectslayouts.blogspot.com/2018/07/sentinel.html and the on/off indicator LED is just connected to the 3pdt footswitch as with any other pedal (google 3dpt wiring) hope that helps :)

Lets see the finished product. Looks like the paint will be horrible from side view, about a quarter inch thick. Could be why people Dip them instead. ;)
can't find a picture on the quick. but this is another one i made with the same technique: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-bBRQUr6F02sXx40Oe7232ZSC0A9RBJR?usp=sharing it's really all about adding the right amount of water, so the excessive paint can just drop off. the paint is thick but not super thick, not more than 1,5mm after 5-6 layers of clearcoat. do you have any recommendations/pointers for hydro-dipping? i'd like to give it a try, but i'm somewhat put off by the idea of creating a whole bucket of liquid, chemical waste
@@edelwaldefroehlich4580 I don't think hydro-dipping uses much more paint than what you're doing, the paint just floats on top of the water.
Is this the version with the 33k and 27k resistors in the first op amp section?

ja pretty much this. needs quite some time to dry before clear coating (i waited for 2 weeks or so)
how to add toggle feedback switch?

@@edelwaldefroehlich4580 Just etched the perfboard but dont work at all. Which one did u use ? I think maybe its something wrong with the perfboard.
@@UnLuckyLuke.- perfboard is the thing with the pre-drilled holes, i guess you etched a pcb. i used the layout from the link i sent you. Although i didn't etch the pcb, but milled it with a cnc. so the layout should be alright

Nice one, did you use a LED diode, or a bulb? I've made one with LED, but I'm wondering if bulb would add more natural sound (more like original uni-vibe)
Hi +Dawid Chojak, its a 5mm LED (a green one if i'm not mistaken). Its a cool pedal but it can't really do the vintage Jimi Hendrix uni-vibe kinda sound
