@@aha3652 an official invitation to Christian leaders for the accession of Murad IV in 1623. It describes the relationship between Kösem and Ahmed and that "Sultan Ahmed honored her by marrying her...". The document was found in the Venice archives in the 2000s.

There is no official date,no celebrations or anything and we would have more information about their marriage.The letter was written when Murad was 12 so clearly it couldn’t be his doing but doing of Kosem O. Kumrular,turkish historian who mentions this letter says its not 100% convincing and authentic evidence of their marriage she herself points out that apart from this one sentence nothing can prove their marriage.O. Kumrular also points out that Kosem only wanted to increase her prestige and also historian Erhan Afyoncu belives it was dictated by Kosem because of strange immature diplomatic language

And the date of the nikah of Roxolana and Suleiman varies from 1533 to 1535. The date of the nikah of Kosem and Ahmed varies from 1610 to 1617. This was an OFFICIAL document, not a fabrication for any conclusion.

@@hinamirza2055 It was not that simple. Suleiman was not as easily manipulated as the series make him seem. He was not a puppet, it was fully his decision that he needed to get rid of Mustafa. People are overestimating Hurrem part in this. As matter of fact many historians agree that Suleiman was pretty much set on executing Mustafa before Hurrem gave him the chance to do so with the letter. There are multiple things that lead to Mustafa death: First of all RL Mustafa while being a good leader like he was on the show or even better was certainly not as innocent or especially humble as the one in the show. Thats important to keep in mind. Now to the reasons 1. Mustafa opposed a serious threat to Suleiman, the possibility of betrayal was not just in Suleiman mind, it was a real thing. We know that Mustafa quite often spoke with foreign Ambassadors and his agenda was not always the same as Suleimans. He was involved in the empire business on places he shouldnt have. 2. When Suleiman fell sick, a group of soldiers went and told Mustafa, and he did made preparations to march at capital and even going as far as being adressed as Sultan Mustafa multiple times. 3. By the time 1553 The soldiers were on the edge of rebelion since they simply decided that Suleiman should be replaced with younger Mustafa. Suleiman was not stupid he was aware of these things and he had 40 years experience with politics, it made no sense for Mustafa to reach out to Persia at that point and he knew it. Keeping in mind that Suleiman was 18 and already old enough when Selim 1. Overthrown and later probably killed Bayezid 2. i don't think he needed Hürrem to het rid of Mustafa, and don't forget we are talking about the same man that ordered execution of his little grandsons, his best friend, his other son later on and etc.. there can be no discussion about Suleiman not having the heart to kill one "innocent" prince. You see here is one thing the show didn't let you see there was absolutely no bond between adult prince and sultan or other adult prince their relationships were cold and objective in the most brutal way possible. Make no mistake Mustafa would have executed his Brothers and they would execute him, just as Suleiman executed any son he deemed unloyal and their sons with them.

First, Bayezid and his children were assassinated by his father not Selim and Nurbanu. Second, Huricihan is a fictional character. Third, also Hurrem’s ring is fictional as well.

​@@student86897 First about Huricihan Sultana is Real she was daughter of Hatice Sultana n Ibrahim Pasha. She in real married 2 Shehzada Bayezid when she was only 16 yrs old. She died at very young age when she was only 25 yrs old. She was born in 1530 n died 1555.
