I think you're thinking of the airbox delete? There's no vacuum pump in the coolant system?

It's just a breather tube. It's definitely not needed as the replacement has a breather hole in the body.

Thanks dude! I think I put a lot more pressure on myself than I needed to by using it as a daily driver. I'm hoping that now that I can have it off road for as long as necessary I can put my feelings of failure to one side and get on with fixing it.

Yes thanks, it does. I have a set of those easy outs now, but haven't given them a go yet in case I muck it up some how and then a pro won't be able to help! I'm going to deliberately break some bolts in various things and practice a bit before attacking the bike :)

Yeah, the stem bracket came with a mount for the speedo :)

I can stand on them, although I'm not necessarily brave enough to go far while doing so, scary! I don't think it would absorb the bumps the way standing on the pedals while cycling does though. I cut a hole in the floor panel for locking purposes. It's just a small hole under the seat, but it locks the whole frame to a bike stand for example.

Yeah I think a tall person might find lowered bars uncomfortable. One of the reasons I didn't go for a completely flat bar, and I'm only 5'8"!

Yeah, I'm really pleased with the way the drawer runner worked out. And was free. Bonus!

The oil has always been where it's supposed to be on the dipstick when I've checked, so I don't think it was over filled. Not that I actually checked very often at all! Maybe once, a while back :)

I took my lights apart this weekend and discovered that the bulbs and connectors on my bike are completely different to the ones listed in the parts list! The bulb is like a normal household bulb on the bottom rather than a three pin thing. The usual replacements won't fit!

@@hondazoomerbristol2012 yes the zoomer has different size headlights and different bulbs compared to the ruckus. you could get the LED lights I sell or look up the stock lights. should find them at any hardware store.

Lidl do their version of the Dremel from time to time, inexpensive (compared to the real thing) and very handy, it’s what I used to cut and shape my windscreen.

@@scottishzoomer I was looking at one in Aldi earlier today (just by chance, was buying milk) but it looked like it came with everything except a cutting disk. I'll have to take a look in Lidl and see if they're doing one at the mo.

I've always had fuel problems with it, mostly as I say not quite running correctly when the temperature either drops or is hot. It tends to cut out when I'm waiting at lights. (surprised a cyclist the other day when it cut out and I pressed the horn rather than the start button!) When I bought it it ran a bit rough and I cured it simply by filling it up with new petrol. So I think it just needs me to pay it a bit of attention! A good clean.

@@hondazoomerbristol2012 hmmm, interesting. I wonder if it could be a fuel line needing replaced, or an issue with the fuel pump. It has a kind of tea bag thing attached to it that the fuel filters through, might need a clean. I always add STP Moto Booster to every fuel top up. It’s designed to clean the fuel system and engine on FI machines. A bottle lasts for ages as you only put a capful in for every 5 litre top up.

Yeah I like them a lot! And was just chatting with my little 'un about how badly the seat has faded. It is very pink now :)

This is true, but the level has never changed in the year I've owned it, so as long as I keep an occasional eye on it things will be okay :)

Yeah, this is poppy red. Someone I work with has suggested Sugar Skull black/red material which isn't a bad idea. I'm going to mull it over a while yet before I do anything I think.

I'm hoping so. I saw your vid on changing the shocks before my bike had even arrived and the first time I rode it I knew it was something I wanted to do. The roads around here are made from concrete slabs with joints every few meters and they are really bumpy!

The road is the A38 Gloucester Rd if that rings a bell :) The light has always come on when I give it some welly. I should figure out what's wrong really, but am still enjoying just being out and about on it to take it apart at the mo. Any idea as to what the light means?

@@hondazoomerbristol2012 the number of flashes should correspond to the problem it is alerting you too, I’ll watch the video again and check the manual

Honda Zoomer Bristol thanks very much 👍 Looks like you got a carb Zoomer as opposed to FI, will make it easier for you to get a few more mph out of it. Are you riding on an old car licence with moped entitlement like me ? My daughter lives in Bristol and had to give up her Yamaha Delight scoot when she was expecting my grandson, she loves the Zoomer look too.

@@scottishzoomer yeah on the car licence. Or will do once the DVLA catch up with issuing plates! Not actually been out on it yet.
