Trip to Silver Lake in the Beartooth Absaroka Wilderness
My daughter and I were taken into the AB Wilderness by our friend Dennis Alverson of Livingston MT. He was super accommodating throughout the trip dispite having a few difficulties along the way. His knowledge and expertise made made the trip one of a lifetime.

I live near Yellowstone Park and make several trips there each year looking for and videoing interesting things in area. This last trip I was able to get shot at something you don't see that often close to the road. So here it is.

This morning I noticed a bunch of deer running from a big black object in a field by my house and saw it was Bullwinkle. Here are some shots of him.

Big Salmon Lake trip

Big Salmon Lake is in a remote part of the Bob Marshall Wilderness. We used to back pack into it frequently when we were younger. This time we had an outfitter take us in and do a "drop camp" for us. This video documents that trip which may be the last one for Frank and JD.

He's mean to the horses just to assert dominance. Totally unnecessary, jerking on reins, kicking the horse in the muzzle?
In my expierence if you show a new rider to pull on reins without teaching them to release, they will get in trouble especially in the Mountains on confined trails. They can pull a horse over backwards or off the trail on uneven ground. Watch some Ray Hunt or Buck Branemen videos !
Hiked solo in the Beartooths for years. I must experience this before my time is up 😘 I was a good rider when young. I'd give it a go in a NY minute 🤩 Thanks for sharing !

Were there fish in Big Salmon Creek ?

Great video. I had the pleasure to fish that very same inlet into Big Salmon, and the bull trout fishing was just incredible. Headed back there in about a month. Good to know that they’re still there after all these years.
