How to use Lookup Columns in Coda (Relational Databases)
มุมมอง 1.9Kปีที่แล้ว
A lookup column is a type of column that allows you to create a relationship between two tables. This allows you to display information from one table in another table without duplicating data. The lookup column links to a specific row in the source table, allowing you to pull in information from that row into the destination table. For example, you might have a table of customers and a table o...

Thank you😇
Is this templates still available for purchase?
Very interesting. Is this template for sale as well?
Great video and admire the structure and style! Super curious why the DB sub-pages use a back slash but Task sub-pages use slash? 🤔😅
subbed! make sure you upload some more content! you're to the point! thanks for this!
my friend share the template
Beautifully done. I would like to see how you got each invoice to automatically generate the next number. I have a table of invoices but can't get it to start at 1 and add one for each row like is easy to do in spreadsheets. - Maybe someone on here knows!
how to add colored dot beside your list option? 3:15
this is an emoji
Great video, thanks! 2 questions: 1. It's it possible to add dependency and when we change a due date of task A, have the start date of depending task B shift automatically? 2. It's it possible to have a timeline view with assignees as rows? Thanks again
So is it possible to do actual databasing in coda or is it not really made for that?
Hi Mica, would it be possible for you to share the template again?, the link doesn't work.
Thanks for the video =)
great video, thank you for sharing.
Excellent! Thank you very much from Mexico City, Micah!
Notes: 1:27 Useful setup design. Also name base tables as DTB.
Thank for reffering to the video where martin shares his setup with Maria on that Coda life... Inwas delaying to watch that one and it is indeed very awesome. Cheers!
Thanks for the shoutout Micah! Still using that same doc to manage my business (iy does more now!) 👍🏼
I know it’s not the point of the video but I’m really digging your background music. :-) great video.

Thank you for the shoutout! 🧡
Great video 👍
I apologize for my bad English. I want to thank you, I came across your video of creating an invoice, which can then be saved as a .pdf or printed. It was thanks to him that I realized how powerful Coda is and I started to implement it very actively in our company as a CRM system. And lastly I have a question, how did you manage to install the Arc browser on Windows? :D
Your English is very good! I'm glad you were able to draw inspiration from it, that was exactly what happened to me in Martin's video that I mentioned in this video. I was able to get Arc by signing up for their waitlist, it's so nice ha
Nice one 👍
Good stuff! Looks very clean
I thought I'd leave some feedback, because I appreciate what you are trying to do in this video, and know how hard it is to start/run a channel. Please consider working on the flow in which you discuss parts of Coda's interface. I'm 5.5 minutes in, but I'm not getting much value from the explanation. It feels like you're glossing over everything, when I'd rather you stop and explain how a specific feature works. For example, I personally would have found the video to be more useful if you had started by explaining how the clock-in button is made and functions before moving onto reporting, and either saved reporting for another video or for a different segment in this video. Relating Coda to Notion was a good callout, because it helped frame the program in my mind better. Also, consider breaking up your video into smaller chunks as you record so you can do multiple takes and smooth out your presentation. It will make a big difference. Again, this is just critique, and feel free to take it or leave it, you won't hurt my feelings. Best of luck to you!
