make sure that you clean your PS5, check for any dirt or anything by the fans.. I have it for PS5 and PC and neither version ever crashes. And this game isn't for everyone but I think it's definitely much better than all of the Harry Potter games that came out during the PS2 era

It should load manually but mine crashed a couple times, try turning some of your graphics settings down
I love the game and I have had zero issues. The PS5 can crash with any game, especially if you let it overheat. Like any application, if the hardware fails, the stored events may be lost. If you fail to make a manual save after each major milestone, then you are the problem. Anyone older that about 6 knows that you never totally trust the auto saves on any game. Since your profile was not totally lost and your machine still works, I see it as a win. I'm old, so in early video game generations you might have this happen and nothing works ever again.

@@The_Kings_Game It's all good, I understand the frustration. When this happens to me i look at it as an opportunity to redo the missions better. If I had any advice for the game, once you get the knabsack...go to the puffskein dens near Hogsmeade and capture them all and sell them at Brood and peck. It's like printing money. Since all beasts sell for the same money (except shinys), you may as well farm the super easy ones.
game is peak and you're halfway through, quite literally just shut up and play
I wish it was that simple but I’m really upset about the way this game crashed my PS5 and how it deleted my progress and didn’t even autosave. I may go back to tho.
@ keep save points, game crashed my PC one time in all the time I played it, I had to go back like an hour that's rly not a big deal, you're not even halfway through yet if you're level 19 bruh

Tbh i agree. The initial introduction to the game makes it feel like its the best game ever because its gorgeous and the castle is so detailed. However, once you start playing it more often the layers peel and you realise how dense the the open world is, nothing in it. The castle other than its appearance is just deadweight too.
