Thanks! Great video. I really wanna haul the 690 out and do this. Ive got a 21 690 also, for about 2 months now and I really like it. Ive also been and continue to be that guy pedaling up the endless climb on a Mt bike.............a whole different idea. Although the downhills are so much fun!

The deal is, if you ride the bike hard, the kick stand can and will flop down enough to kill the engine, possibly shooting you over the handlebars. It can seem like some random thing but its the kickstand moving down. The ABS sucks on dirt, the Traction control sucks on dirt, the kickstand switch sucks on dirt. If your just gonna putt around none of this much matters. Unless that stock sensor dies in middle of no where, and you gotta walk away and find a truck. It has happened,cannot be fixed at trail side. 89.00 for this bypass piece is ass nine. I think.

Serious question why do people cover their plate numbers? You see plates uncovered all day long and then someone does a video and they cover them. 😅 what am I missing? This looks way better and will be doing this to my gasgas es700.

I’m not sure if it’s just coincidence but I did this to 2 of my 690’s and both the rear lights broke off after I did this. Maybe the plastic that you remove keep the vibration down🤷‍♂️

If you buy the super moto 690, and then try to sell it soon after, you will join the ranks of many trying to sell them on CL. A limited audience to sell to it seems. Dealers probably cut deals on the super moto version.------ ------------------------ The SM version "looks so cool" and is "so rad"..................but the appeal seems to fade once the radness wears off.

You forgot to touch the white and green tail light harness wires together. This activates a hidden LED plate light on the rear OEM light assembly.

did you have any problem with the engine error light staying on, I have just fitted a set of 17s with haan hubs to my 2022, my engine error light stayed on after i fitted the wheels, im thinking it may be something to do with the abs. i noticed your rims had the abs rings on them out of the box, after a little research i think i might need different abs rings.

What a well maintained trail. At the beginning it looked like a manicured World Rally stage. And seemingly easy grip. On an LC4. The strongest big bore motorcycle engine for a long time. I’ve got a 2003 640e and it still surprises me. Great day!

Nice ride! I wish i was there 😅 Could you tell me if the engine is reasonably smooth on the lower rpms? I had a 2017, and mine shook badly at low rpms. In 2019, they added a 2nd balancer and rubber mounted handle bars. Hoping it made a difference because i want another one

I had this Wings muffler on my 701. With the baffle in it was quieter than my DRZ400 OEM muffler side by side at idle. Very nice product.

I really miss that area. From there east, and south of 8 was my playground.
