I honestly think they shouldnt limit the itempool just make it less likely to pull the op items, like how hillarious wouldnt it be standing at last place and getting coins because you needed the speed boost😂😂😂 or first place and getting a bullet bill with extended bullet time increasing the distance even more😂😂😂

Crash Team Racing does this better. If you collect 10 Wumpa Fruits, not only you go faster, your items get boosted so a TNT crate became a Nitro crate and a rocket became a homing missile.
