Madam, it took Rs. 1000. But you have to bergain a lot. Initially they ask for Rs.1500/-. You can bergain more and reduce to price to I think Rs. 700/- for one hour. Sir, in Kashmir, you have to bergain very hard. They will say and show also that this is our govt fixed rate, but nothing is fixed sir. I gave Rs. 4500 for two ponny as I was very late in the evening. They asked for Rs. 6000. They saw that we r late and understand that anyhow they have to hire ponny. You can bergain any amount. When i reached at the top of Baisaran valley, a group of 6 men came and I got to know from them that they paid Rs. 1000 per ponny.
