@@WabbSports Example..We bought Badiashile for €35,if we sold him right now for €5mil,it will still be €5mil gained.Not €35-5mil plus the €5mil we'd owe Monaco end of next season.When we purchase him for €35mil and we owe Monaco €5mil a year for next 7yrs+the dozen other lads we bought,those fees are covered by our sponsors/tv rights/merchandise any many other factors each year so releasing an expensive player/free agent etc doesn't matter because thats why Chelsea make profits,to cover the money gambled on players.With the wages aspect,clubs have a budget so they certainly can take wages and transfer funds and shift it however they want wages are part of the finance reports.Example,we can release Lukaku and free up his €20mil wages or w.e it is and purchase a €5mil player and sign him on €15mil wages for 3years.

He's a risk like every unknown player but he is young and hungry and has the physical attributes. We have had high strung Strikers with attitude before. Remember how we loved Diego Costa ! I see him as this type of player. Would I choose Duran over Alvarez, No, but what if we can't get Alvarez ???
