I personally carry a water bucket and keep it in slot 9 of my hot bar for just the same thing you experienced with our Enderman "friend". Also, it works pretty well against baby zombie attacks because it most of the times slows them down a bit. Enjoying the series. I too am like you. I stop playing MC for a few years and recently started back. It is like playing a brand new game with all the new stuff. BTW, you were blessed by the MC gods with this seed!

Also, if you do not already know this, when you go to the X for the buried treasured map, go to where your white indicator arrow is right over the X and then turn on F3. Look for the Chunk info on the left side and make sure the last number of the 1st and 3rd block (X and Z axes) number are 9, and it will be below that…sometimes pretty deep.

You can regenerate your air if you sneak on a magma block under water. If you sneak, you won’t take damage.
